  I know exactly what you were describing TDHL, oh dear those uncomfortable first dates, I can barely manage to imagine it without it doing my head right in. Some of us are at points in our life where we want to just cut right through the mustard and get to the meat Lol. I love how RHP enables us to totally reverse engineer this whole 'date' thing... Let me give two scenarios as example: date a. (non rhp instigated) Two people sitting uncomfortably getting to know one another, trying to touch something of the other person at least to see if you get any tingles, wondering "oooh should I maybe not do that, will he think me too forward, does he even like forward?" and him "Geez do I touch her and risk her thinking Im after a bit on the first date, is she even going to let me kiss her and perhaps have a sneaky feel of her waist?" date b. (rhp style) After already wading through the likes and dislikes, kinks , fetishes, desires you meet and get right down to business, fuck all afternoon until you realise, "shit! Im going to need to eat soon to keep up my energy" where by you both head out for dinner, try NOT to touch each other at the fear of getting wet or a raging boner in the middle of the restaurant, because everything you've just finished doing all day will come flooding back! . I'm not sure I even have the patience to do date a) anymore? has rhp made me lazy? no, I don't think so......my approach has just evolved to match my time constraints for what I want 'right now' It could change , that's also realistic I guess...when my needs or wants change.   I met my wife at a party... so that wasn't as difficult. Our first date was a total disaster. We went north to a party on the central coast. The idea was to sleep in my little tent in my friends backyard. I couldn't afford motels in those days. It rained real bad the whole trip. We were both cold, wet and miserable. Lmfao. What an idiot I must have seemed to her. It gets worse. I'd cut a hole in the floor of my car to put a stck shift in. The column shift gearbox died. Anyway, water off the road was spraying up through the hole. By the time we got home we were covered in dirt. Gawd. What an idiot. Two months into our relationship, we drive her car on our dates.   I have only been on this site for a few days and quite frankly I find it so refreshing....SEX is not only on the agenda it is the agenda! I have been on other dating sites and while most men are lookng for sex their profiles say something else ,most women mainly talk about relationships and finding the ONE.,and people tend to tell a lot of lies to get what they want...here there seems to be no need to do that.   Gawd, the last real date I went on was probably 6 months ago I think, and it was an RHP regular forum contributor at the time as I was. I assumed he knew what I was like.. Unfortunately the conversation was a little awkward and going no where fast, so I started talking about my RHP experiences and all my "firsts". Well... I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head!! LMFAO. Needless to say I felt no chemistry so said my goodnights and went home alone. The next day he sent me an email saying I should write a book about my experiences because people would be interesting in reading it..... Gawd if only he knew how I had tamed it down for him too.   I definitely agree on the openness-factor. It makes things a lot clearer and there's no guess work. I enjoy what rhp provides, TR - hit the nail on the proverbial as usual :-) The last regular date I went on saw me continually catching myself before I brought up a topic along the lines of "see, I'm a bit of an exhibitionist..." or "surely you didn't bother wearing underwear..." She was a lovely girl, my first foray into meeting some people my own age....needless to say I won't be hurrying back to that again...

  Hi everyone,   I usually find that I am myself on each meeting I am lucky to have. No point in being otherwise or trying to be something you are not   My personality is such that conversation is usually steady and flowing, and these conversations include all topics...   So for non "sex" dates - I usually find the topic eventually comes up and is fun, and for "sex" dates - I usually find non sex topics are discussed as well.   Note: the frequent usage of "usually" lol ..   Maybe I just give good conversation :) ?

  ...it's a bit of a sham, what with all that stuffing around and those awkward moments where you want to talk about sex now not after dumping a few hundred bucks on a nice night out then mess around getting to the point. Go for the sex...and be as gentlemanly as is warranted, manners and respect go a long way. It's always nice to meet for something like a drink and tapas first...but don't take the sex off the menu | I'd rather spend the big bucks later in the evening or even in the morning...a great brunch together could lead to another exciting afternoon. | Dates...those are dried up wrinkly fruit, right?
