So obviously it is an issue and I agree with you! As members of RHP it's up to us to make suggestions to management. Fake and inactive profiles are ruining the user experience.- Posted from rhpmobile

buyer beware. It's naive in my view to assume people in any large crowd are all going to behave the same way and value the same things that you do. It's also short-sighted to think your 'morality' or 'values' are right and those of others are wrong. People do things for whatever reason they do them - simple. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, if you don't like what people do, don't waste any energy worrying about it or even wondering about it. Simply move on. Every minute you waste on people who don't meet your expectations is a minute you could have spent with people who do.

About a couple claiming to have used a pic of a female friend for privacy reasons. However we found that pic all over the net. I can't find that forum, was it deleted?

Yes the thread disappeared, most likely because a few people were saying that they see nothing wrong with using pictures of people that were not them. Fake pictures. This is basically against the RHP rules. Unfortunately you are no longer able to load photos of places or funny sayings which is a bummer. Sometimes they can be a bit of fun... Much prefer them to all the grey ghosts.

Quoting 'Meeka100'Yes the thread disappeared, most likely because a few people were saying that they see nothing wrong with using pictures of people that were not them. Fake pictures. This is basically against the RHP rules. Unfortunately you are no longer able to load photos of places or funny sayings which is a bummer. Sometimes they can be a bit of fun... Much prefer them to all the grey ghosts. Had that thread not been removed it would have become apparent that I was in support of the point being made NOT the revelation itself, which is what others appeared to have got hung up on. If I'm not mistaken, one or two people later posted to the effect that the point being made was not wrong. They nor I were NOT suggesting that we saw nothing wrong with using fake pictures at all. I saw some genius in the approach but having said that it did NOT mean that I agreed with or would have done what had been done. Rhetorically speaking (seen as you mentioned it): I don't suppose you'd consider loading "pictures of places or funny things" as being indicative of who someone is as a person or not by any chance?

Today I observed a topic written by a single woman.... she mentioned her lover in the topic. I opened her profile and noted her Friends list which contained one friend, and that friend used the same photos of her in a Couples profile..... So she added herself and her lover as a friend. Hmmmmm.

Equally naive is to consider profiles are factual in all respects...I find it funny when PPL say they are honest and can't tolerate dishonest PPL...there is nothing like 100% honesty or dishonesty...have you ever seen profile where a dishonest person will say I am dishonest...most profile have either nothing or filler words with useless information. Picture and if something useful in profile you can find, is all matters. Further filtering is best at meet to greet.

I am a skeptik by nature, it just seemed like there were way to many couples up at 3am this morning looking for fun and friendship in my small home town of Australia on a work night. I can't wait to meet all these open minded people, they are into absolutely everything apparently!

I agree with the OP about fake profiles and would also like to point out another fake profile type. That is, single female profiles (often verified) that say “I only play as a couple with my partner” or something similar. What’s with that? Is she a single female or a couple? I often wonder if it’s only a single girl profile so that they don’t have to pay for a membership to access the chat rooms.Steve

But maybe not fake but certainly intending on misleading. Happy with single gender profiles stating married or attached, but when single is used to describe and not the case it is bogus. We get annoyed with the couples "attached" profiles, where attached is actually living apart and him talking but she has no idea her raunchy pic is on the net, thought it was for his viewing only. Also, talking about fakes, what is it with profiles that start a thread and are 'off' or inactive? Answered by at least 3 'off' profiles. Wonder if we're talking to someone that's not all there, or has left the building completely. As far as we can see a Wholelottarosie user could be anything, no details at all are displayed, we'd call that false. Even responses by 3 other 'off' profiles, how do you know who is making what comments, gender, status etc?, We've seen the 'most informed comments' being made by people we would think are the least qualified to make comment, but if there is not member detail how would you know? Also detest incorrect pics of members and cannot see where descriptive pics cannot be used (as long as the pics aren't of someone else)

We have been on here for almost a year during which time we have had to deal with not only many a fake profile but also with some that become quite nasty, and bitchy, when we decline their request that we open our PG's. The reason that they get nasty is that we have requested them to prove that they are indeed a couple or a single female ...... That's where the wheels fall off. We also wonder if this site allows someone with the same IP address to have several profiles, and also how good the software is that decides if a photo is genuine and not one downloaded from another site. On an interesting note, it appears that the OP may have blocked us for some strange reason . Don't recall ever corresponding with them at all. Whilst we have met a few really nice people on this site, one couple of which we socialise, not play, with regularly, for the most there are too many fakes and chancers and it's become a bit of a mission to have to sift through it all and as such we have given up actively looking and now only look at those who have viewed our profile, but even then just with one eye as it were. - Posted from rhpmobile

Cee n Ess, couldn't agree more. Search for single women and their profile says something about playing with her and her partner??? I think they're single men masquerading? K xx - Posted from rhpmobile
