From the UK looked at 2000 women, here are the findings 59% preferred to go shopping than have sex. 75% would rather take a holiday somewhere sunny than have sex with their partner. Porn was a major turn off for many women and experimenting or wild sexual fantasies weren't a turn on. 95% would take true love over great sex Women in their 40's and 50's are more satisfied with their sex lives now than in their 20's and valued honesty, conversation and trust as they did physical attraction. So for the women of Australia how accurate is this study to you. Does it generally give a snapshot of women in Australia too? Just asking for a friend :P

Shopping is a necessary evil unless I'm feeling a bit down and spending a few cents here and there for craft items. I suppose sex is not at the top of my list at those times! Hehe, I go on holidays with hubby to have sex. We watch porn while we play around... I have true love AND great sex! Wait, wait... Aha! This is a yes! I don’t give too much credit to surveys... Often the surveys are manipulated in my view.. AND.... I reckon you could ask those same 2000 women the same questions at a different time in their lives, and their answers would be different - Posted from rhpmobile

Well there are so many variables one of them being how good the sex is. Also this is sex positive site so answers will be biased I can only answer for me as a single person. My enjoyment of sex and how good it is directly relates to how into the person I am. Sex Vs Shopping - Sex Sex Vs Holiday in the sun - Seriously?? It was -2 this morning. Put me on that plane ASAP. There'll be time for sex later or on the holiday. Porn - Like it. Watch it. Not excessively though. Alone and with partner. Fantasies - Yes if I'm into the person and feel safe I like exploring sexual fantasies with my lover. But highly dislike the feeling that I may be just a sex fantasy tick box for someone. Thats a big turn off. True Love Vs Great Sex - In the long term, love all the way baby. BUT think that true love would equal great sex or I'd keep making him (or maybe even her) practise till it became great sex. True love I'm not sure about that term to be honest? Sounds a bit Disney Princess. You either love of you don't? What makes it true? I'm probably too cynical for the whole true love debacle unless it bites me on the butt when I'm not suspecting it. Sexual Satisfaction - Directly related to how into the person you are having sex with at the time.I have had good sex through all stages of my life but I felt it got better as I hit my 30's onwards. In my 40's, I am way less inhibited but also, I am more fussy now. Quality not quantity. ATM I'm not happy with my sex life for a number of reasons so I can't say that I am more satisfied at this particular moment. Hopefully that will change, I'm patient. :) Value honesty, conversation and trust as they did physical attraction - There must be some physical attraction but 100% yes to the rest. That's part of foreplay isn't it? Especially the trust and needing to feel safe to let go. I can't have good sex without that.

Is doing a PHD on this shit and someone is funding them #facepalm Simple, if that’s their answers to the first two comments, then they are with the wrong person I find the comment about porn interesting as god knows there so much porn variety out there, surely something would appeal My own personal experience is wild fantasies do tend to be male driven, not exclusively but mainly True love over great sex, have to agree , I’d take that. Great sex is easy to find, than true love. Does that even exist ? Can’t comment on the last statement but I hope so

What if you had been married for 25 years and someone offered you an all expenses trip to the Maldives with your closest girlfriends? I'd be running to get on the plane. The sex with your partner would probably be better on your return after two weeks away from each other. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. LOLMaybe this is why I am no longer married ...
