They used to say that if your house was on fire grab the photo albums, nowdays, it would be the laptop & external Hard drive. Photo's bring back the most beautiful memories, which last forever. Regret, it was in Tasmania, at a car show in a small town that we stopped & looked at while on holidays. It was a 1936 Buick soft top. It was for sale. There was just something about it. I should have cancelled my flight & driven it home. Still kick myself.

has a lot to answer for... Moving every six months when you're growing up leads to not accumulating much 'stuff.' Consequently I have never really collected things at all - beautiful or otherwise. I'm also not really attached to anything. If I decided to head off around the world (which I will do one day) I could sell all my stuff bar my photos and leave without a second glance. The 'stuff' I value would probably fit in a cardboard box....

passed last year but only in the last fortnight I receive finally her engagement and wedding ring that was bequest to me I am wearing this now. It is indeed beautiful but its memories and representation is of more beauty to me I have lusted over many beautiful items but no regrets about not purchasing. If I have meant to have owned them I would have More regrets over things I have not done or things I have not said

I just lost a shit load of my photographs, I was pretty annoyed but then I realised I had been through boxes of the old ones, scanned a few but then threw out the rest. In the end I did now want my kids having to go through all that shit, and then saying who is this person? when your gone it means nothing to anyone else. The best thing in life are not things. but for me its memory those are my real treasures, the friends I have collected like little treasures along the way. as I paint I guess I create my own form of beauty and then give it away. for me less is best. some times I regret when a friendship dies but that just life, we all move on

Of great places i have travelled to throughout the years and all the magic moments i have spent with dear friends and lovers....not many things that i regret as i am a very go and get what you want type of person and have always lived my life as such and made a lot of opportunities happen that way. And am so pleased about it life is too short to wonder, better to make things happen to the best of your capabilities.
