Not only the city of "churches", it's the city of "squares". Meaning it's difficult even for a bloke to get lost there. Depending on what you do for a crust, there will be quite a few looking for employment with the looming shutdown of GMH. Apart from that it's like anywhere, it's what you make it.

We are the Festival State too! Easy to get around, friendly people, great beaches, beautiful hills regions (not when burning) the Murraylands (when not burning) the Barrossa (also when not burning) What can I say..... Adelaide's Hot! Seriously it's a great place to live Disclaimer to lighthearted banter about the bushfires, meant tongue in cheek. My Best friend was four water bombers and two CFS units away from losing her house on friday

cwhereitgoes well said mate, suppose Adelaide does not sell many GPS, yeah working in sport and wine industries - just want a place that has the busyness of a city and the easy access to places, eg, commute, sports, beach, without a fuss - eg leaving home at certain times just to miss traffic jams wonder what the ladies of adelaide think of it?

I'll only go there to watch the cricket. I found it a very dull place to live.

It has true Mediterranean climate Traffic is building same as everywhere. I have to beat the jams already Road infrastructure not keeping pace... Water cold but ok to swim half the year Laid back... Has a nude beach. Private swing parties. And yes bizarrely murder capital of Aus... Sadly not a big Rugby city.. So cum down and play the crows will be watching :) - Posted from rhpmobile
