Age differences

November 20 2013

I am new here but in my short time here I have noticed that a lot of the couples here have large age gaps between them self and their partner. I was wondering why this was? My hubby is happy to live in an open marriage because i was young when we married so he likes seeing me experience things he did when he was younger not that he doesn't enjoy them now too ha ha.

I've noticed the large age gaps with a lot of swinging couples as well. One possible reason I've considered is that maybe the younger guys in general aren't as comfortable with watching their partner fucking another guy, and are more prone to letting jealousy and competitiveness get in the way (e.g. "man his dick is bigger than mine, wonder if she's enjoying him more than me", etc.). But then as they get older and more experienced they become more self-assured and capable of dealing with the feelings and moving past them.

men don't mature until they reach their 30's where as women tend to be more mature at a younger age, perhaps that may explain a part of it. I read somewhere that the most common fantasy for long term married men is to watch their wife with another guy and for single guys the most common fantasy is, you guessed it, 2 girls.

Husbands in general ' and not necessarily older guys do have this fantasy about watching their wife enjoy another man. Being a male who states this in my profile, it's a compliment to be selected as the man to fill that fantasy. Age phobia's are real, but if the couple are smart' they work out a way to make it all good.. The last couple (now friends ) had a age gap of 10 yrs, ..I was invited to join them and when it was all happening they gave each other the thumbs up and a offer for a re run afterwards.. so it worked well for them.. Some people are taught age phobia at a very early age and it never leaves them.. others accept people as people which probally bought them together in the first place..

Yep, there's an age difference of nearly 11 years between us, so be it.. We've been happily married for 13 years and together 15. Our age gap doesn't make Mr L a geriatric, or force us to lead an open relationship due to his age. We have found in this lifestyle that our age gap has hindered our search slightly, but we're not that worried about it, as we do understand that everyone has their age preferences..

Women mature emotionally earlier than men. But I could be wrong. - Posted from rhpmobile

I go with Sim 14 sounds good never really thought about it; maybe younger women go for older guy because he is more committed to the relationship.. I like watching my wife being pleaured by another guy or woman. you learn things. Example I didn't know she like her nipples being twisted like that. Also its great to see her enjoying herself and screaming the house down. why the age difference I think sim14 and Luckdragon sumed it up pretty well.

I have been seeing my partner for over 2 years and we have a 14yr age gap. When I first met him I was seeing a guy my age and a guy 16yrs older than me. I ended up having more of a connection with him (mentally, physically and emotionally) then my other 2 fwb. We don't notice the age gap and other people we meet say the same thing. For us it all comes down to the connection, regardless of the age factor. So great to see so many other couples in similar situations : ) Ms NC2147 - Posted from rhpmobile

My hubby is 10 years older than me and that's fine by me. My boyfriend is 3 months older than me.

It would be interesting to know with some of the larger age group differences if the couples had formed a partnership based on there sexual needs first that then lead to the relationship they have now. And if they had come out a married/defacto relationship and there previous partner didn't follow there sexual passion.Maybe the start of another topic

There is 11 years between DK and myself and we have never had a problem with the age gap and DK doesn't look his age so I got the best of both world. lol For me it simply comes down to the fact older men know what they are doing! Even when I was a single girl on RHP before I met DK I only ever went for guys around the 30 year age mark even when I was only 21 at the time. I actually had a self set rule that I didn't play with guys who were 25 or under and this always worked well. Now that we are playing as a couple I again find this to be the case, the younger guys from couples we have conversed with (but not met) seem to be a bit arrogant and cocky and try to dominate the situation which does nothing but annoy us both and immediately crosses them off out list. We defiantly prefer couples where there is a male half is around 30 or above as they tend to have much more respect and experience and DK can actually have a conversation with them without feeling like the other guy is trying to dominate and intimidate him.
