Age gap couple finding it hard to find other couples.....

March 01 2014

We are reasonably new and have found it hard to find couples that we are both attracted too! Because of our age gap F35 M43, Mrs is attracted to the younger guys and Mr is attracted to 35+ish women. So if Mrs likes a guy usually his partner isn't into Mr because of the age gap..... Hard work! Have other couples had this experience?? Do you dabble in the singles scene to find people you like?

We are also an age gap couple but we don't mind what age people are to be honest, we find that a persons personality and attitude is what attracts us and not looks. We have found Perth to have a mostly great diversity of people where most can find a match and have fun. Lee and jock at swanbourne

We also have an age gap. He is 49 and i am 37. To us age is just a number. It's the personality of people that attract us. We totally understand where you're coming from though. Although we do get a few knock back due to his age, the majority of people we have contacted have been keen to at least get to know us. We wish you lots of luck and hope you don't let the picky people put you off. Tam and John.

we have a gap, and we do experience a bit of ageism, funny thing is the comments usually come from people who are how can i say it , a little less than perfect regardless of the age number.. like the others we are about personality, sensuality, sexuality, at the end of the day there is nothing wrong with a bit of experience @DBHappy, filling out your profile might help to get people interested??

it does sometimes make it a bit tricky sometimes whilst age is really just a number and has little to do with anything it does sway peoples first impressions We are of the opinion when talking to someone new that if the age differences are an issue then those people are not worth talking to If it is not an issue then generally you will find that there is some substance to them as people and then they are worth talking too

I find people look for reasons not to hook up,my gap is 11 years.do they say no after you have met with them or before. Are they who they say they are, when i see a profile i like i think yep thats me to a tee but then comes the conditional requirements lol some are very funny,

Old topic but.... We often find it the other way around, we both really like older bi guys (among other interests ;), especially over 60+ and have found those willing to meet and play can be few and far between! Maybe someone could organise a 'mature' meet and greet some time in Perth :)

I was with my partner and she was younger than me, I think as the first couple said diversity is the key, that's what brings us as a couple closer together and open ourselves up to this honesty.
