  At what age did this interest begin? mid 20s, not actively until 40 Was it always there? Yes Does the interest relate from an experience that you had somewhere in life?nope, that is a well known misconception. for some it becomes a tool to help with early trauma, but that is actually very rare.

  Having a natural dominant tendency started in formation years probably around 12, the first time sexually was around 25, it wasn’t until 28 when I went to a formal bdsm club and diagnosed... lol. Talking to most of my subs over the years it starts young, often they want to be the Indian tied up and surrounded by cowboys etc. the link from submissive or dominant sexually depends on the personality and rate of maturing. It’s not about age of discovery for me, it’s about the openness of exploring when you do, overcoming the social programming and dogma that is embedded for such young ages.
