Bad Karma

I just have to ask, what is with all the bad karma in the chat rooms at the moment. Was in there last night and people were at each others throats, accusations flying thick and fast, abusive members insulting others and all in all, a totally 'not happy' time to be had. Personally, I think 'beefs' should be had in a good restaurant, with a nice red to wash it down - not aired and disputed in social venues where it sprays all over other innocent and unwilling participants.

...to clarify..participants of the venue, in this case - the chat room, but you know what I mean. Wherever u may be where other peoples odious behaviour impacts on your patronage. Wrote this waaaaay to early in the morning lol.

I totally agree aly... Why do people need to bring their crap into the chat room... Must be an attention thing??? Anyways they should all keep it out of chat and sort it out like respectable people do.. OR theres always the block button!!!

You can be what you like on the internet. Internet hubris , filled with lots of hot air and bad typing. People say s things they would not dare to say to a persons face. there are no social restraints and you cannot read the facial expressions that telsl you are stepping over a line. People type on impulse in stead of sleeping on it, before you open your mouth and change feet. Internet interaction is like Alice in Wonderland on steroids. Chat rooms also swallow up time, and some people like to live in the tardis with one hand on the keyboard and the other thrashing the sausage, and I know this cause I peeped ...pervert that I am.

I have on occesion popped into the rooms when winding down at night, and yes, not a great way to relax when there is bad kharma. Not something worth hanging around for!

I believe there's a block button :) Not that I use it because sometimes its funny what people say... even they are insulting me when they say it :) When it isn't funny anymore I just switch off and do something else for a bit:)... Tuscan is correct though.. but because anyone who I know personally from there and have met wouldn't insult me I can quite easily ignore the "Humis" attitude of those I have not met in person and have no intention of meeting in person.To be honest though, 95% of chat is a group of people on there to either meet someone/hook up perve... or just have a laugh and a good 100% of the people I have met through chat are all like that in many ways, sexy, funny, zany lovable characters:) Ok now i must go back to my sausage ;)

The bad Karma of the chat rooms... or the bad karma of the forums ... I for one am so sick of the shit that gets banded around.... the abuse and insults and assumptions made by people who either CANNOT read what is written ... or they READ what is NOT written and proceed to tear strips of the OPs or other posters ...there is a difference between a difference of opinions on a topic of chat or forums... and the nasty rude insults slung at persons intentionally but totally unwarranted .. Its for this and recent postings on a forum topic where the insults flew because persons couldn't read ... that I have decided this will be my last posting on forum topics until the atmosphere improves, the assumptions and insults stop and persons learn to read what is actually written .

Aly I hear you loud and clear. I have had a couple of occasions recently when someone has jumped down my throat because they had not really bothered to read what I had writen and then wouldn't recant because it would make them look bad. Lost a couple of friendships due to this. We are here to have some fun and make ourselves feel good with each other not to have to worry about arguments. I say CHILL people!!
