Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

February 28 2014

Not sure If anyone caught the (USA) Today Sow's entire cast appearing without makeup earlier this week, for a second I thought they'd all been zombified..... really scary stuff! The point of my post is about photography (Those desperate to get laid leave now). There is a big debate over the manipulatrion of photoimages, 'Unreal' images daughters are forced to look up to, Magazine covers portraying an unreal body image, photoshop-as-satan etc etc All this crap is totally wrong because it's based on a myth..... that cameras capture reality. Absolute nonsense, camera's capture a bunch of information then attempt to assemble it into an image, a shitty camera will do this very badly. When a good Photoshop artist takes a photo and manipulates It he's not taking it 'further away from reality', he's taking an image from a machine and making it appear how It actually would In a real human person's head! When WE look at someone we don't see It like a camera sees It; we have all our imagination and memories and prejudices and glasses of wine shaping what we're looking at......the image in our head is fundamentally altered by our mind in a vast number of ways. We will see what we want to see, block out what we don't, view someone we lust/love in a fuzzy blur.... Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder..... Agree/ Disagree

When you see a person for the first time, you will fundamentally see and judge them from their exterior. But I believe that if you take the time to get to know someone from the inside out, that first image you had of them alters and a new image (the real one) is seen. That is the real beauty. The rest becomes a blur.

The male identifies the female by registering the curves that make them shapely to mate with. Then later rules and stuff came in, after we started cooking meat, that's when we developed into the monsters we have become, rules make us think we need to put a face or nice dress, anything one in particular believes is what they look for, but the curves are what the story is reasoning too, people are starting to believe they know many things they have no clue as to the truth of it, still they own it and broadcast it as idea and try to coin it for some sort of place of stature, others believe them, giving them power. Someone saw the power of illusion and used it to sell their life saving tonic, people believed them. Today Coke still has some spices in it, though cocaine was taken off the ingredients list some time back. It had it's market established and the people continued to like it for much more than the reasons today, it still has the marketing, maybe not in NZ any longer. I know some pretty ugly mother fucker scary looking men with faces worse than my one, same as my arse. Yet they have the most beautiful looking women (health tells of beauty) Women see the ape like walk of a man as attractive, the more he walks with that type of swaggering step, the more body mass he is carrying around, he shows strength, dominant and breeding preference for strong babies. Now women believe they see all sorts of things to what makes a male attractive, all an illusion. See it all the time, men thinking they found the woman they like because she looks like the image, she believes he looks the image and they think they are in love for the image, then it turns to shit because they had nothing in common. I fell in love with Tara's curves once I saw her eyes smile at my swagger, and that is about it to it, best mates ever since. and we have beautiful children. Our illusion maybe Mado Tara xx

Most of us women have natural surprising beauty, take away our make-up and Whola - it's amazing what one will see! Natural Beauty. I love natural beauty, freckles especially!! I also love imperfections in people. I believe the most beautiful beauty, is someone who can naturally be them self. To me, it's about looking attractive, feeling attractive (inside and out), mind body and soul. I also believe everyone has beauty, I love being around those with beautiful souls. As humans (and due to media) we try to look beautiful but sometimes it makes us look artificial. What one sees as beauty in someone, another may not. We are all unique different individuals. Beauty exists in the mind of the beholder and can only be judged by a person's individual own ideas of beauty. Foxy

You are right and I agree... When WE look at someone we don't see It like a camera sees It. A picture may say 1000 words, but with Photoshop it says 1000 lies and hide 1000 problems. 1000 words will not leave so deep impression as 1000 deeds. (Henrik Ibsen) Foxy

I always thought beauty was in the eye of the BEER HOLDER. Don't like the photo shopping though, much rather see the true person. Mr J. - Posted from rhpmobile

what you say.....however we are so manipulated through Media that it becomes very hard for our mind to control the image our eyes see.Why else would we make our bodies into artificial statues, why else do we use Botox, plastic breast and go under the knife....to make us more "beautiful", I mean even women are now starting to dislike there pussies and have surgery to make them more beautiful.....what ever that means.Curves are important on women so men are attracted to us....to reproduce...we still follow these natural instinct, but for how long.Humans are learning quickly, our mind is the most powerful one, we all know what our conscious mind learned and it takes many years to unlearn. Our mind is learning quickly and we see what is beauty" a slender straight body' so all designer clothes fit.Women are labeled 'fat" by media for showing round curves....all this shitty Magazines women read undermine our view of reality, how a female or male should be.I know I see all the "not so good body bits in a person" first. But I know also you meet this person on a regular basis, somehow your eyes see different things. Because the outside fades away, and the real person is what attracts you.Again that's all right...however on the side like this one we have to portray THE ME in a way it attracts the "males" I think will be smitten by my photos........first.....Then comes the other inner me, but most of the time there will not be a second time because most people are on here to have as many sexual encounters as possible. So they race to the next image....That's reality......the right photo sells....the wrong one doesn't.
