Best dressed at themed parties

September 16 2017

Hi party people! What's the best dress up party you've gone to? I've always found the most fun I've had is at parties that had a dressup theme. For whatever reason having a theme makes the party better. For example I went to a naughty and nice theme one and the funniest costume there was a guy dressed as a 70's porn star. He had the moustache and hairstyle with sunglasses and even attached a piece of hose to the inside of his left trouser leg so it looked like he had a bulge down to his knee. I also went to one where the theme was something that starts with the first letter of your name and one guy came as a bus! Yes he walked around with a self made cardboard bus draped over him. He even went to the effort of putting lights on it! Any interesting/ memorable costumes you remember someone wearing? Maybe you wore the memorable costume? I've heard swingers parties have interesting costumes. Lookimg forward to any replies. Cheers! - Posted from rhpmobile

Out on the 128 acre block, where our in the dead tree photos were taken, was a masked swingers party - around 12 couples we think. Whilst it had no theme per se, we all wore masks, which was fun and added to the naughty ambience - Posted from rhpmobile

Worst dress wins. There are always some great costumes, as anything goes. Back in the day the Toga was always fun. - Posted from rhpmobile

Continuing on from our previous post, for the past 3 NYE's, we have enjoyed a swingers parties out on the block, 2 hours from Melbourne. The first party had a Hawaiian theme - we all wore grass skirts and Hawaiian Leis (flowers) around our necks. The second party did not have any theme, and so no one really dressed up in any costume of sorts. The third party, held 31 Dec 2016, had no theme (like Priests & Prostitutes etc) but we all did have to wear masks. All of us did however come in some form of costume. We found that by dressing up in a costume, it really made the party a lot more fun, and ohh so much naughtier. Adding masks to the mix made it even more fun. Why ? We suppose that when one wears a mask ( and a costume) one can take on another persona and perhaps do things that one normally would not do ?
