Best hotels in Adelaide to play

We are looking for anyone out there with an opinion about the best hotels in Adelaide to play at. We have always enjoyed staying out at different spots in Adelaide when there might be a chance of play with others, but at the same time, we love having a night away from home every few weeks. We like a hotel that you can either spend time in a decent bar, or have the ability to go to your room, and not worry about a bit of noise. Most hotels seem to have one or the other, not both. Any suggestions?

Adelaide Meridien Hotel & Apartments, on Melbourne Street in North Adelaide has been a popular spot for me and has a great spa sweet on the end of corridor which is private and noise no probs.Had a partner a few weeks ago there who nearly brought the house down and no complaints, a screamervery resonable priced and day rates as well o/nite Enjoy
