COVID and sex drive

August 20 2020

Just back on RHP after taking a break for the last few months. I'm an essential worker so I was already limiting my meets back in April. I also had a regular couple that I was going to be in an exclusive arragement with but that fell over too as my shifts got busy. I hadn't been too worried because to be honest I found my sex drive pretty low since lockdown. It's been well over a month since I last had sex. Anyone else just feeling a bit blah? I figure getting back here might be the focus shift I need.

Not sure on the best advice. When you say your sex drive is low, does that mean you are masturbating less as well? Generally speaking, people are feeling lower, mental health support services are in much higher demand etc. Technically speaking I have three that might be inclined to sleep with me, but because of lockdown rules, locations (different states etc) and other situations, it's currently been about 6 months sex iso. But of course even those in less affected States are also feeling down from the general economic pinch and direct or indirect anxiety. I'm sure that can impact sex drive, whether you are single or whether you have a live in partner. If you are feeling really down though I do recommend talking with MensLine or Lifeline or Beyond Blue coronavirus hotline/s.

I think those of us even fortunate enough to not be financially or medically affected by the pandemic felt pretty meh. Being in iso was nice in some ways, but in other ways it kinda sapped you of your mojo. Give yourself time to adjust.
