Cap d'Agde in Southern France

We are planning to go to this huge gated naturist adult community resort and have heard that there's many hotels and apartments inside and some cater more for swingers. Has anyone been and could you recommend accom pls? Many thanks 😈

Every-time I go to Europe I put a heap of countries into a hat and pick one out. Last time it was Amsterdam. Basically I get stuck in France and if don't get the hat out, I'll end my days never, ever see anything else of Europe. I still visit France though on every trip. I just cannot escape the beauty of the country. So with all that out of the way, I do highly recommend that you cart yourself for exactly 1.16mins (Google maps advises this is the correct travel time, and seriously how could Google get it wrong. We'll talk about my trip to Newcastle that turned from 4.35hours to 7.58 hours a little later though!) to a beautifully situated town called Carcassonne Carcassonne is absolutely beautiful and is one the last intact and best preserved Medieval towns in Europe. As I just love Medieval history, I felt right at home. Kate Mosse (Not the model.) set a stunning novel called Labyrinth, the 1st in a trilogy of books. It's set in the village of Carcassonne and surrounding areas. It's worth reading before heading to the Languedoc region. It gives a wonderful history of the region, and really sets the entire scene for the whole area. The book was stunning. Carcassonne is stunning. I highly recommend it.

I am not sure what the holiday population is there but there's more boobs n bums to focus on than the eye can see. It is divided into a general nudie area beach, some bars and restaurants, shops etc with minimal clothing for health regs and the totally nude section which occupies about 25% of the place. Everyone is nude everywhere bars shops nightclubs etc. It is a place for nudists primarily and sure there is sex, hard not to be when everyone is in the buff but there are families and people who to be naked and not harassed. Some interesting swingers clubs in Beziers and Sete close by and Montpellier a bit further along the coast.

depending on the length of stay you'll need to book early as much of the accommodation seems to be booked through third party brokers. Hotel Eve was easy to book with direct, but the apartments at Heliopolis are closer to the beach (though it isn't a long walk at all). By day it's just like any beach town except people don't have clothes on, when the sun goes down people tend to have clothes on to go out to dinner - though it's a 50/50 chance of the person wearing regular clothes or a fishnet dress and stripper heels. Glamour is a fun club to visit - proper night club up top and swing club downstairs. Carcassonne was a very cool place to tour, but don't bother with the cassoulet.

It really is impossible to describe this place to people that haven't been there yet. But it is a place that open minded people should get to at least once in their lives. The way to book things is generally different here to anywhere else we've seen & the first time you try it can be quite daunting. The variations in accomodation are huge & it's not an inexpensive place to go to because everyone wants to go so finding something right for you is important. If you're looking for swinging action you're headed to the right place. The 2 most popular swinging hotels are jardin d'eden & jardin de Babylone but it's not essential you stay there to experience everything the village naturists at Cap D'agde has to offer. The village is flat, everything is in an easy walking distance & sometimes the people watching makes any walk worthwhile. A useful site is capdagdeinfo.com We book through the agency AGN & like to stay in a luxe villa in the Port Nature precinct. AGN's website is genevievenaturisme.com, have found them brilliant & they have English speaking staff but there all other agencies to book through too. AGN release next seasons rates & options around Dec/Jan. There is also more affordable accom in a large campsite (still part of the village), for those options look up Rene Oltra (think that's the main agent for camping accom). As already stated in another answer there are lots of options for beaches, whilst the beaches are all nude most of the stretch is dubbed family friendly but there is an area called the 'swinger beach' if you walk left along the sand from the main village for about 10mins (you'll know when you get there..lol) & that's where to go to watch & be watched or more. By day there's also the relaxing nude pool at 'Waiki Beach' bar...a good place for wifi. The mousse party at Glamour is a must (in peak time it's open every day from 2-7pm) Babylon has day parties....wild wild wild & if it's not a nice day the sauna 2+2 is the place to be for adventurous couples At night....the clothes go on. Think what you'd where to a swingers party in Aus, but no need to be shy. Dinner, drinks, some non swinger bars to enjoy & then at approx 10-11pm the many swinger clubs open there doors. Glamour, Tantra & the one under Waiki Beaxh bar are the most popular. There's also private parties throughout the village & happy to provide info on where the European swingers that go to cap D'agde list their profiles. Lots of other stuff...how to get there, what to take (get a 'orange' French sim to use data as wifi not easy to find) We'll be there next August & can't wait.. Hope this helps J&R

Be prepared to the best place for nudist and open air sex but also for saunas and swingers clubs of the place. You'll find easily game partners on the beach, in the streets and bars, even on the next balcony where you'll watch some couples having sex any time. It happens also down in the garden or on the wall corner. Some few French words are welcome but this is a very international place with a French spirit. You'll love it sure!

We've just visited this piece of paradise. Paradise it is, where else can you have sex on the beach hassle free, naked & have plenty of offers to join in! Just learn the words "don't touch please", as not all people there have rules & boundaries like we have here, particularly the men on the beach. Plenty of action there, even though it's not Summer. Although this place needs a refurb, a bit run down, at the end of the day who is there for the scenery? Natureva Spa is the place to stay, it has a nice indoor heated pool & one of the newest hotels there. Glamour nightclub is a great venue, but the cream of the crop is the couples spa!

Forus recommended Natureva Spa. Have never stayed their but have a look at it for sure based on their recent recommendation. We've always booked through an agency called the AGN agency They have good English speaking staff & although the French experience is different to what we have re customer service have always found them helpful & professional. We prefer the Luxe style apartments or Villas, worth paying a little more even though the Accom in Cap is expensive. They also have the big 2 swinger hotels on their books. Jardin D'Eden & Jardin De Babylone. Haven't stayed at either but from what we've heard Babylone would be the better option of the 2 (even though it's a little further back from the beach). The twice weekly Babylone day pool parties simply is one of the most amazing experiences you will ever have..hedonism+ There are also other agencies that book apartments. We normally go from very late July to about August 20 but have been told best weather is from June to August.Hope some of this helps, feel free to message us...this place is the Mecca for all things nude & lifestyle related...Enjoy

Hotel Eve is the easiest place to stay book at as there site is in english and works; Jardin d'Eden/Babylon is the most fun ;). Renee Ultra (caravan Park) is the cheapest.Usually you have to book at least a year in advance, particularly if you want to go in july, aug, sept (30+ sunny days, yes you want to go then, trust us!).Wherever you stay, its a concrete jungle but your not going for the views! Make sure you go to Le Glamour (hottest club in the world) and do not miss Le mousse (the foam) party.Have Fun!

Hi all We stayed at Hotel Eve a few months ago and are pleased that we chose it. Cap was a source of some wonderment - and disappointment. We do not speak French and found the language barrier difficult. As mentioned above, it is a concrete jungle - and not overly well maintained. It was worth the trip, but we would not go again.

Thanks for all the comments, advice and tips. We're booked now for end of June, Hotel Babylon. Looking forward to lazing naked by the pool, cocktail in hand, and making new friends from somewhere in the world.
