Condom questions

November 16 2015

Probably a repeat, but I have some questions: Normally I stick with "Skins" (non-latex) condoms, the standard 53 mm size. Obviously swinging parties provide condoms, but I haven't always noted what brand/s they were. Q1. Condoms are obviously easy to put on (while erect), but I've found if I lose the erection at all, they tend to roll back up slightly, perhaps start coming off, which is a very unsexy feeling, meaning it's hard to regain the erection without taking it off completely, getting hard again, and going for a new one. Is this a typical experience? Q2. The 53mm size doesn't always seem to roll down as far as I want it to. I've tried the 57mm size (same brand), while that seems to roll further (be longer), it is marginally too loose. Are different condoms different lengths, but in the same diameter? Note I'm apparently "thick" both by comments and the toilet roll test. Do all brands of 53mm feel the same to use, or are some "stretchier" or perhaps easier to put on, while still feeling secure? Q3. "Skins" advertise themselves as being very thin, but are still a quite a reduction in sensitivity. Recently I tried another type at a party, which seemed to feel much better, but didn't note the brand. What are people's favourites that do feel as close to natural as possible (and as they advertise)? Q4. I've seen people using cockrings or other devices. Do any of these serve the purpose of keeping the base ring of a condom in place?

Larger size I did try was actually 56mm, not 57mm, my bad. I do have a collection, because you need to buy a pack, you can't seem to buy individual condoms to errmm... try :) So I've ended up with packs of different types that I may or may not like. Durex is probably my preferred brand in latex. Do people find latex easier to wear than non-latex (disregarding sensitivity)? However I'm seeking recommendations on non-latex condoms, because I've come across a few ladies that are allergic to latex, which is why I've defaulted to Skins for the moment. I'll have to take more note of sizes and brands at my next club visit :)

I use the large ones. I find that the other ones are too tight and I tend to not feel as much.I am not saying that I am huge but............. I think that it is Durex. It's a blue box. I have found them to feel the best.

I think more guys need to invest in cock rings. It solves a couple of big issues in your post. I too don't like having to take off and put condoms back on. I think most people understand that if you are planning to have sex for longer than ten minutes, we are probably going to become worn out and will lose stiffness. The cock ring solves that for me so the instances of losing my erection during sex drops considerably. There's the ego to get over though.... Some guys get hung up on thinking they need to be able to maintain a hard cock for as long as necessary in order to be considered "manly" or whatever. - Posted from rhpmobile

Any advice or suggestions for the best type/brand of cock ring? I don't live anywhere near an adult shop so need to purchase on line.

Putting lube inside the condom tip before you roll it on. Extra sensitivity equal harder and shorter times. ie only have to pump for an hour instead of 2 hours.....

I would like to contribute. I always buy Four Seasons Naked Larger these days. Some guys don't seem to provide their own condoms so I always have these ones at home and in my handbag. The box says "Australia's Thinnest Largest Condom" and also says 60mm wide.None of my lovers have ever complained about this brand or had issues with them - in fact many men have said that Four Seasons Naked Larger are better than what they normally use.The box also says "this product contains natural rubber latex" From my point of view, I have no issues with them either and they have fitted all my lovers really well. Wishing everyone a happy and fun evening.

I cant comment on the size thing as i dont know what it feels like from the fella's side 😊. But i do get sore from some brands or maybe it is the lube. Trial and error is the only way, for me skyns and ansell are the go, anything flavoured is out. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Whateverway' Putting lube inside the condom tip before you roll it on. Extra sensitivity equal harder and shorter times. ie only have to pump for an hour instead of 2 hours..... Def. I'd read about it in an article written by a sex worker & tried it. Feels much better.

Going to try that tip 😉 Being very new to this LS I have struggled with condom use as I haven't needed to for over a decade. I was recommended 'crown' condoms, bought overseas in packs of 100 at a very good price. Yet to try the as in away from home and will once I get back. My partner and I plan to 'practice' with condoms as I need to get comfortable with using them again

using the lube inside the condom, make a separate mix with water. The lubes can be a little thick so by adding a small amount of water will make a huge difference. So much so you have different mixes for first and second rounds. Dont mix em up though or it will be over before you know it. ° It is very much a sex workers trick. Faster the better. Annie
