Hello.... just checked your profile nd guess what...I'm finding it hard too.. :p )Ok.. ahem.. oops... sorry... childish I know). My suggestion is to cue 'em up for a couples event, hure a baby sitter or a pet kennel.. whatever.. you get the idea... and travel to the city... make a long list of new swinging friends.. and invite them one couple at a time for weekends away to your place. Hugs Gaz. PS.. you should enter into the best butt on RHP forum thread... whoa... ffffhhoarh.. nice. :p

Hiya Angel-Predsy......I am in the same position as you. I live 2 hrs south of Perth. And am so sick of people asking me all the time when I am coming up to Perth...I actually had a bitch about this in another forum...lazy Perthits!!.lol..I can say this cause snides81 got on a plane from QLD to spend time with lil me....We had a great time! As it was his first time to Perth it was nice to show him some sites too..I actually got lost in Perth as I had to try to remember my way around..lol...So good laughs..dinner..fun!!.. So all you slack arse people in Perth.....If a guy can get on a plane from QLD to meet me...Then I reckon ya all suck..and are lazy as to drive 2 lil hours to go to the countryside..Get outta the city AND BREATHE....I am buying a tent soon..who wants a camping and fishing swim with the dolphins weekend in the beautiful south ..lol Gaz' idea is really good. But finding those who want a weekend is difficult..So maybe make a plan on things you will do for the weekend.. What is good to see or do where you are make it an event .. Now I won't just invite an ol hottie here...lol...But I would def find a weekend of fun for the right guy/guys......umm..anyways..lolol...much better than a 1 nighter...I actually did a weekend with a good friend of mine and I have wonderful memories from it. He is still a good friend that I respect and adore. ... And Gaz.....sit boy...and stop panting at her hot arse...lolol kisses sweetpetite41 oxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

If we are contacted by a country couple (or someone from interstate) who have a specific date/time that they are going to be in town and we happen to be free at the same time, then I see no problem. It's only when we get contacted by people who say they MAY be coming to town or WOULD come to town that we simply suggest they contact us again when they have a definite date. Sadly we're getting more and more time poor so we don't like to spend too long on MSN chatting regardless of where the other couple lives. If we know there's a real likelihood of meeting, then it's no prob. So maybe you're coming across couples who don't feel that there's a strong likelihood of meeting in the immediate future so you end up on the back burner?Perhaps you guys need to make a plan to visit the city regardless of what/who you do? I can appreciate you'd probably prefer to only go to that trouble if you had a definite plan with a couple but it sounds like a vicious cycle to me: you offer to travel = couple can't/won't commit to a date = you put off making plans = couple disappears... Maybe if you break that cycle by setting a date to travel, then couples who are free to meet won't run away since the likelihood of meeting is real?

As a country couple ourselves - we live one hour out of brisbane we have found that some people are put off or don;t understand why we don't want to be in brisbane every weekend or at the drop of a hat. For the couples we have clicked with after a few city meets they have travelled to us ...( thank you to those willing to leave the big smoke)We have also found that if we go to Brisbane for a weekend we'll orgainse to meet a few couples for the "meet and greet" type thing, go to a swingers club and then play with some if all feels comfortable. Or to orgainse to go to hotel parties works very well for us because then we meet lots of couples all at once. Also we have tried to make contact with people on the outskirts of Brisbane (on our side of town of course) because then the distant is not so big. just one more thing too we try not to get into the whole msn thing because it seems like then people only want to make plans at the last minute which does not suit us because of travel.

Its not just those who live in the country that have this problem. We live in western Sydney, about 50kms from Sydney. We constantly encounter the "westie" attitude among those who live closer to the coast - once they see you are from the western suburbs you are immediately looked down apon, not just for the distance (only really 40 mins to the city) but by the pre-conceived idea that anyone west of Olympic Park or Parramatta is some kind of slack jawed yokel or a flannelette wearing bogan ! Since the geographical heart of the Sydney area is now located around Parramatta, those on the coast, the "easties", should re-think their outdated attitudes. Bev and Peter

Perhaps you could organise a trip to the city and arrange to meet up with a few couples at a club? That way...you all have options...and if nothing pans out then you still have a lovely weekend away..or you may meet someone you hadn't planned to meet up with but met by chance.Personally...I prefer to meet at a club or a meet and greet...that way there are no expectations on your part or theirs. You can relax and be yourself without worrying if they like you or not.Just my opinion....BJxxx
