"Day use" hotel and motel rooms.

There was a very well-known chain of motels back home and each called the ''Notel Motel''. They specialized in this and offered hourly, half-day, daily or overnight rates! The one thing they did not do was take a charge card... oh by the way I only heard about this from a friend of a friend. Honest...sorta honest? Anyway... my thought. If you do want to use a nice hotel then just do a search for best rates, there's a lot of sites that do this now, then book a room for the night, leave whenever it suits as long as it's ahead of check-out time. Yes I know, a bit more money but then again gives damn good reason to being more selective and spending time with those special friends that are ''worth it''. Besides... I don't have to wash or burn the sheets let alone clean up the bathroom!

good topic. I've avoided hotel hookups for a few reasons, I don't like paying for the privilege of having sex, and wouldn't allow, still don't, a man to pay. Plenty of other places you can have sex for free I discovered I have to admit, I have relaxed with that thought a bit, in the sense that if he was prepared to pay, I might be up for it, but doubtful, because there are other things I don't like about hotels. I don't find them personal, I find them too clinical, confined to a small space, one room usually. The only thing that would excite me about that would be balcony sex haha or as on_the_loose mentioned once, if there was a big window perhaps where you knew you could be seen, something like that, but being couped up in a small room, without the personal touches of home, doesn't really do it for me. But that's only part of it, there's more I've heard stories about cameras being set up in hotel rooms, either by the person you're meeting or someone within the hotel. I like to be in complete control of my privacy, and I don't feel like I would have that control in a hotel room. I haven't ruled it out altogether but I tend to avoid it. There's one guy in Perth who I have the full on hots for, and he knows it, I've told him. We message occasionally and it's always me turning him down, but a big part of that is he wants me to go and meet him at this particular hotel? Does he live there, doesn't seem to matter what day of the week or how late at night, that's where he hooks up. Maybe he owns it or is the manager, maybe he works there and fucks in his coffee break If he'd offered to come to me, we would have got down and dirty by now. But god I want to devour him Maybe I should rethink this hotel thing. I've been hit on by guys wanting me to meet them on Canning Highway in a hotel there that does day rates, few hours or something like that, but I can't remember the name, it would be a 3 star at best and grotty I would imagine, not for me, but each to their own

If I were you, I'd let my fingers do the walking showing my age there with an old ad slogan, yellow pages love the double meaning though. Just ask them straight out, ring all the hotels in the Northern suburbs within the price range you're looking at and ask if they do day rates, 3 hourly rates, anything like that. None of their business what you do for that 3 hours. I'm actually shocked the hotel manager treated you that way. ffs we're not in the dark ages here, how old was she or old fashioned more to the point? So funny to me, it sounds like that scene from the graduate where the desk clerk asks "Are you here for an affair, Sir?" haha and tells the clerk he doesn't need his luggage taken up, he only has a toothbrush hopefully you weren't as nervous as he was

Google it. Or pm me & I can pass you the front desk number. I've stayed there a lot for Fifo transits. Very reasonable rates. Very nice people too. Ive never heard of Desk Clerks frowning at people who are checking in though?? Unless you're turning up at the Vatican with an obvious & scantily-dressed Shag on your arm & getting down & dirty in front of the staff! How would they know & frankly, who cares what they think?! Unless 'One' has something to hide (though your profile states that everything is above board). So there doesn't appear to be cause for concern. Perhaps it might be best to just ignore the disgruntled stickybeaks? I don't know if Hotels /Accommodation Establishments do 'Dayrooms'. Qantas Clubs & similar, I think , have short-stay facilities like that. (But unless you're a thrillseeker or it's a fetish, that's probably not an attractive or preferable option). I mean , it all does sound very odd though. Ive stayed in hotels in various countries around the world , over the course of many years (including in socially-strict countries), & I've never come across or heard of anything like the desk staff frowning upon or persecuting clients. That NZ story is not an account of normal events. That sounds like trashy magazine fodder to me! It's nobody else's business why you're seeking accommodation - I would ignore the Frowners & Nosey buggers & divulge nothing that would 'incriminate' you or a companion if you are concerned. Best of luck. Ysa :) - Posted from rhpmobile

Club 103 eh? Here i was thinking it wasn't for me...The Canning Bridge Hotel, my divorcee friend has been there, the only thing she didn't like was her company. Being NoR it's a bit of a hike for me. The CBH must get a fair bit of business from horny couples as I've heard it mentioned several times.I've also heard that near the airport is a good place to check in and out at pretty much any hour. I don't have any specific recommendations from that area.I have been to one closer to home but they weren't that co-operative about an early check in.I have also been told the Northbridge Hotel is another one to consider.Touchy I reckon hotels have a fair bit going for them as they're (hopefully) clean, discreet and they provide neutral territory. One married woman wanted to come to my place once, that freaked me out as at that stage we had only talked on the phone! I will never host while I'm still in the marital home, that is an absolute NO NO in Wifey's world, nor would I consider visiting a woman in her marital home. It's bad enough screwing another man's wife but doing so in his home is beyond the pale.I learnt recently that 16% of long term marriages are sexless marriages, if true that sure begs a few questions. Doesn't it?

For an afternoon meet I just book and ask for an early check-in. Midday has never been a problem, was able to do 10am once. I find motels safe and convenient. Great if the have a spa room. And room service is convenient. I have to admit I did think of a concealed camera once, but that would be a huge betrayal of trust. I just have fond memories instead, and a few photos :) - Posted from rhpmobile

haha where do they get that figure, I'd guess people who are bored and not satisfied sexually with their partners, the figure would be more like 95%. The other 5 % are on here, oops hang on, and plenty of the 95% are on here too

Some people have medical and mental issues. So sex is not always an pleasurable option for them. Stats are just stats. Best to take them with a grain of salt. IMO - Posted from rhpmobile

On one occasion I had to get the desk clerk to help hitch my suspenders lol true story. They thought it was hilarious!!! Told them I was spicing up our sex life......and couldn't stay the night because no baby sitters for the kids. In my old life I needed to know the best places to stay at a number of cities and towns and you get to know people. One hotel manager I was point blank with when I asked him if he did an hourly rate......he told me I was a saucy girl and gave me a suite for free with champagne, strawberries and extra towels......haha

What? You were considering installing a "concealed camera "!?!? You do realise that you could be charged with an offence for doing that!? That's not the only suspect/inappropriate comment Ive seen from you in the Forums either. Still, the upside is,.... you are inadvertantly warning us to give you & your dubious predilections a wide berth. - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Ysabel2015' What? You were considering installing a "concealed camera "!?!? You do realise that you could be charged with an offence for doing that!? That's not the only suspect/inappropriate comment Ive seen from you in the Forums either. Still, the upside is,.... you are inadvertantly warning us to give you & your dubious predilections a wide berth. And if you read my entire comment, you will see I regarded it as a huge betrayal of trust. Legalities aside, my morals would not have allowed me to do it. The comment probably didn't read well on here. I saw an ad for one of those nanny spy cams mounted in a clock radio and thought, "it could be used to record our session" which was followed by, "no way in hell"

The fact that you even considered it is still cause for concern. I mean,....what other illegal sleaziness have you 'considered'? - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Ysabel2015' The fact that you even considered it is still cause for concern. I mean,....what other illegal sleaziness have you 'considered'? Nice, I am being judged for something I have not done, and would never do. Now you are trying to invent other things I am guilty of, all over a poorly worded post. Thank you so much for your public attack on my character.

When I need to book a motel room for a day meet I usually tell them I am a maintenance worker needing to sleep through the day for a night shift repair. This never raises any suspicion and usually also I can ask for a room away from the general people traffic too so I can sleep undisturbed... ET xox

I'm not capable of being with anyone at all for 3-4 hours. God, once it's done it's done. I then like to go back to my own world!!
