am looking forward to daylight saving and the extra activities it brings.. perhaps freedom for sport, beach and to be social... how does daylight saving work for you? :)

Even when our kid's were little we loved it. Enjoying the extra light to stay outside to garden, entertain and as we live rural the benefit of not driving home in the dark.

It's great having the extra daylight after a day at work, I can walk my dog for longer and hit the deck at the local for a drink. - Posted from rhpmobile

I remember voting against it in the Queensland referendum. I had only just started a working life and with 7am starts I did not want to have to get up in the darkness again like I was doing through the winter. Was already finishing at 3:30pm so I had a decent afternoon. Nowadays I find it a pain, at work we deal with other states all the time. And at home I play world of warcraft and trying to get a raid going with people scattered around the country in different time zones is a pain.

But it confuses the fuck out of my family who all live in Queensland. They can never adjust to the time difference😎

I love the chance to get outside for longer after work, and getting to the beach becomes viable. But loathe the 3 hour time difference to WA. It makes communication with the Gropers that much harder.

Selfish adult me thinks, "YaY". Having the sun up until 9 sucks in this weather with the drought we have over here. No longer a child me remembers how much fun I had avoiding going home for that extra hour till the street lights came on... Meh, kids don't get out that much these days anyway... Peachy

Love the accessible daylight hours and dusk to enjoy outdoor parties-bbq's. This summer I am really going to try stand up paddle boarding after work.

I get up when I want.. sleep when I want.. go to work when I want... wank when I want.I have not owned a watch in over 25 years, and I NEVER shall.IF I want to spend more time in the sun... I take the day off, and go play in the sun...Works for me...Fck the rest of the world..

Is the best con I've ever seen.... You don't get anymore daylight than what's naturally occurring for the seasons....it's a placebo of epic proportions..... Instead of turning clocks forward, just get up an hour earlier, do some stuff, go to work, come home, do some more stuff, and stop fucking with people's circadian rhythms

Really !! In this age of enterprise agreements , equal opportunity and flexi hours who needs to work 9 to 5? Daylight saving should be relegated to the age of colonial work practises Mr A

but dont love the changing times of daylight savings....that is annoying. Dont own a watch, havent for ages, but having to think about the whole hour changing thing is a pain. However, it signals that the time for sun is almost here! yay! bring it on!

Bad sadly (as others have mentioned) WA does not have it. We have had a few referendums on it but all have failed. Some reasons I have heard; hard to put the kids to sleep, the farm animals get confused and one of my all time faves "the curtains fade" (and maybe tatts as well )..... I hope one day WA can enjoy it more than a trial here and there. So much easier for businesses dealing with the other states.

Everyone has 24 hrs in a day. Some just make better use of them than others.
