Nothing better than having a good laugh with a woman. Gets the adrenalin going and always makes things more comfortable and fun. I have a rather strange sense of humour at times and can be missed by those that aren't into wit but I don't mind as they get it once they know me a bit. A woman with a broad sense of humour is very attractive and sexy in my eyes. No it doesn't Lily as I saw your bum in that , great new profile pic too by the way

On the humour. I've worked in mining for years and am often the only chick on the bus. I can dish out all manner of humour, but I've noticed some guys don't like being "out joked" or "piss taken" by a girl. And if you out-pun a guy....oh dear...lol. But that may just be in a group situation. I personally love funny chicks, and I always radiate towards them. The ability to laugh and joke says a lot about ones self confidence, which is such an attractive quality! Would I friend zone them for being funny? Hell no! Bring it on!

1) Do guys really like funny women who are able to crack jokes or be just as witty as well as you? Do you find that being funny is primarily the domain of the men, as this is what you are used to?Yes. A woman that can crack a joke and keep up wit wise is a very attractive quality. 2) Do you think we get relegated to the 'friend zone' a lot quicker than the those who are 'cooler' in their demeanor during dates?I very much doubt that. I'd say it's more dependent on the two people and the situation, not whether or not you can crack a joke or keep up wit wise. 3) Are we sexy to you?As answered in question 1 4) Does my bum look big in this?Depends if i'm cooking or you are. Usually the safe answer is no.

About humour is what is hilarious to some is unfunny to others...humour can be cultural, gender based ,age related etc.Dry wit is quite different to Billy Birmingham,Carl Baron type "humour"...I don't find them funny at all but they appeal to men..and some women too..Russel Brand.Billy Connelly Eddie Izzard on the other hand make me almost sick with laughter..Kath and Kim,French and SaundersJo Brand..but not Hannah Gatsby or Rebel Wilson or Joan Rivers,...I find joke telling boring but witty intelligent and pithy humour, now that's sexy in a man...Some people think that I am mildly amusing at times, others just find me a crashing bore...and never make a joke about a man's penis..there is never anything funny about that...well that's what most men tell me 😝xx Freya

Quoting 'unicorn99' On the humour. I've worked in mining for years and am often the only chick on the bus. I can dish out all manner of humour, but I've noticed some guys don't like being "out joked" or "piss taken" by a girl. And if you out-pun a guy....oh dear...lol. But that may just be in a group situation. I love the verbal sparring of wit with a man when on a date. However, I once met a guy for a lemonade and he seem nice yet very nervous. i have no idea why as I am quite a petite demure-looking Asian woman. Very harmless looking. anyhoo, I digress. So I tried to ease him a bit by being gentle in my chat with him, whisper voice, but I can only hold down the jokes for so long. At some point, I let one rip, the joke I mean, and he just stared at me as though I farted. The awkward silence was deafening. I could almost hear the crackle and pop as his synapse went on overdrive, trying to process what I just said. I caught myself chuckling to my own joke which trickled to a ' ah.. ha..... ha'. It would have certainly broken the ice if I did fart right there and then. And given him excuse to laugh. Well, sad to say the date didn't go well...

I agree that humour is definitely subjective and culturally based. It is what we are used to. In general, I find a lot of comedians funny except those who make fun of other people's disabilities,k the disadvantaged and derogatory racial jokes (well, I make fun of my race). I dont see that as funny. I have been lucky to have lived in Montreal, Melbourne and UK to attend the best annual comedy festivals on this planet, and get exposure to different types of humour. English dry wit and Irish/scottish humour appeals to me the most. Also enjoy some slapstick - Monty python in particular.

Question 1. I love a girl that can exchange wit on an equal basis. And frankly like freya said I do not really like blokey humour as it generally doesn't take much intellect to use. Question 2. There is no difference in being relegated to friend zone for me whether you are funny or cooler and I actally don't believe much in friends zones, just friends. Question 3. I clearly answered that one with a great big yes. Question 4. Answered that one too even though it was rhetorical Hope that cleared it up for you

but I like to be the funny one in a relationship. Having said that a good laugh is good for us all and i appreciate it no matter the source. So for my answer to 1, yes women can be funny without changing the status quo, however expect me to compete to be funnier. I've been attracted to women funnier than me and its possible that her wit is what attracted me in the first place (love intelligence, can't help myself). 2) Not for me, but i can see how society has enforced that opinion. 3) Yes, so long as it's intelligent humour, doesn't matter if it's dirty, sardonic, whatever. 4) No, but that's the point of a moomoo isn't it? (i thought that was an invitation for a joke, if not, i apologise).

1. I do not care even if the woman is funnier than me. I have a dry sense of humour but can appreciate a good joke. 2. I don't think being funny has any relevance to being relegated to any friend zone, as above, love good humour. 3. I don't think being funny has much to do with being sexy. Good conversation and humour can possibly lead to a more relaxed open conversation, so good be an advantage, but it takes more than that to be sexy. 4. The photos I could see I can say your bum does not look too big. Sexy looking photos but they only show nice leg and part bum (looks nice to me) .

Intelligence and wit are two of the primary things I look for in a woman! A woman can be drop-dead gorgeous, but if she's got no sense of humour I won't stay interested. So with this in mind: 1a) Absolutely - the wittier the better. Though, as has been discussed by you, Tis and Freya, the type of humor is important. Janeane Garofalo, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Amy Schumer - hot. Kathy Griffin - not so much. 1b) I think even though we've yet to see a woman heading up a late night comedy show like Jon Stewart or Jimmy Fallon, I think the success of Tina Fey with her years as head writer on Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, and now Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (not to mention the historic success of Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball) has shown that being funny is definitely not limited to men. 2) For me? No. But I think in the past, just as we've been barraged with the 'incompetent dad' trope on tv that we've also been barraged by the 'sarcastic female best friend' trope - Garofalo has certainly played her share of those roles. 3) Absolutely. It shows spontaneity, creativity, and intelligence - all of which make for an excellent companion. 4) You ask that as if it's a bad thing.

I have a feeling this is their part-time job before school pick-up and before getting dinner started (just kidding my sisters, please put the pitchforks away). with exception of Ellen of course. I grew up in a staple of re-runs of 'the Carol Burnett show' and Lucille Ball. These ladies were my role models in the humour stake when I was growing up. I thought all women were as funny as they were.

1. Humour makes us human! So yes! If we can make each other laugh we'll most likely make each other cum. That's my opinion. Now hit me with it woman!! 2. Possibly with some guys who want an image, a package with no internal substance beside them. Less pressure other than superficial stuff. Maybe some guys are threatened by a woman who's quicker to laugh than they are. And happy whether with or without them. Possibly able to entertain themselves is disturbing. 3. To me,yes...but depends whether humour is only being used to hide from insecurity and avoid discussing anything deeper. But yeah see answer 1. 4. Not big enough!!! Does mine?

Quoting 'lilyorchid' two of the funniest wittiest women alive... their emmy banters are to die for. another one is Lily Tomlin. Yeah, separately they're incredible - together? They're an unstoppable comedic force of nature. Lily Tomlin is amazing. Gilda Radner was another who was taken too soon. Margaret Cho is vastly underrated. I remember hearing her do her bit on fisting and laughing so hard it hurt. funny comedians seem to be ruling the roosts in daytime talk shows, eg. Ellen, The View, etc. not sure why. I have a feeling this is their part-time job before school pick-up and before getting dinner started (just kidding my sisters, please put the pitchforks away). with exception of Ellen of course. Frankly, I think Tina Fey was robbed when she wasn't offered David Letterman's position (this is coming from a big Stephen Colbert fan), but Tina Fey deserved to get it and we're long overdue for a female latenight host. I grew up in a staple of re-runs of 'the Carol Burnett show' and Lucille Ball. These ladies were my role models in the humour stake when I was growing up. I thought all women were as funny as they were. Yep, I grew up watching them too. Mary Tyler Moore with her old stuff on the Dick van Dyke Show - she had amazing comedic timing.

1) Do guys really like funny women who are able to crack jokes or be just as witty as well as you? Do you find that being funny is primarily the domain of the men, as this is what you are used to?Yes I prefer women who can hold a conversation, but then again I come from a family where both, male and family were quick witted. Yes, it does get you in trouble at times when you say something, and the only sounds you hear in response are the crickets chirping and tumbleweeds rolling down the street. 2) Do you think we get relegated to the 'friend zone' a lot quicker than the those who are 'cooler' in their demeanor during dates?I wouldn't have thought intelligence/humour would be an issue with the dreaded friendzone. How the hell do girls to the dreaded friendzone. I mean us guys can be a bit clueless with the communication thing, but can't you just show up naked and bring beer :) ( not my joke but I will use it) 3) Are we sexy to you?yup 4) Does my bum look big in this? There is a sceintific answer to this.Even since the dawn of time when Grug gave the wrong answer to Urga's question, does this mammoth skin make my bum look big, there has been an evolutionary change in progress. Down through the dawn of time , the only men who were able to pass on the genes were those who answered no to this question. So in modern day man, a primordial part of the brain kicks in with a survival response of, of course not dear.

Simply a persons smile and body language can make them hilarious whilst having score of 0 in the wittiness department. The most important part of a girls humour to me - is that (firstly they have a sense of humour!) and they are not overly sensitive.

Funny. I think the term interesting is more apt to the description. Someone can learn a long list of jokes and be funny, some comedians are funny, yet in real life are but sour sacks of poop. Quick wit, a sense of the absurd, a natural ability to think outside the box, well read, and educated all add up to make someone interesting. I have yet to meet someone interesting that is not at the same time funny. 1:So if funny means interesting then I can not get enough.2:Do such women move to the back of the line (friends zone) I can not imagine why. Some people may find interesting people a little confronting, this may lead them to place them safely at a distance. But I can not imagine that such a person would be in line in the first place.3:Do you have a pulse? 4:Not to a blindman.

1. A girl with a sense of humour makes for a more interesting date. 2. It doesn't change their demeanor at all cause she was already way cooler than me, although she would drop down the cool ladder a few rungs if she gets spotted in public with me. 3. Nothing is sexier than a girl that knows how to laugh and have a good time. As long as she remembers there is a time and place for it, laughing when i get naked is never a good time 4. I doesn't look big in it at all, but it sure would look great crumpled up on my bedroom floor hehehehe

1) l greatly enjoy funny people, women make me laugh as much if not a more because l find delivery the funniest and women tend to deliver in a way that amuses me. For example, Robbie Williams home video on his web page from when wife having baby and l found myself slapping my knees and snorting (only little ones of course) at her reaction to him and interaction between Wife and Robbie, they play off each perfectly and wife is hilarious in her own right and there are many comedians on tv l piss myself laughing at their observations and delivery. Women definitely do witty well if not better from my experience. No l don't consider funny the primary domain for men, funny is funny. I'm used to only working with men, virtually worked with no women over the years in this particular business and don't find the guys always funny, some people just don't get me laughing. 2) for me no, making me laugh is special I greatly enjoy it, I would think about me getting relegated but not relegating someone, not something l am aware of thinking about towards someone rather this mild panic inside. Interesting l might have to attention to it. 3)No not all 4)Absolutely not, that outfit was made with you in mind, besides my bums bigger so who am I to say. Cheers
