Eurovision!!

Yes it's that time of year again!! The first semi-final is on Tuesday, and as usual I'm sure it will be an extravagant feast for the eyes and ears . To get yourself in the mood I recommend checking out Poland's entry, "My Slowianie", or "We are Slavic" which has both Polish and English versions. Basically the video for the song can be summed up by one word: BOOBS. Apparently the Polish version is meant to be a bit of a satirical / sarcastic take on people's view of the Slavic countries, and that doesn't translate well in the English version which basically seems to just be about how hot Slavic girls are and that they know how to use said hotness. Maybe if there's anyone out there who speaks Polish you could tell us if that really is the case....but in the end it's Eurovision, and it's not something to be taken too seriously. Since I'm half Slavic and my dad's native country isn't in it this year, I'll be rooting (ahem) for the Poles, boobs and all
