FLASH BACK/MOMENT IN TIME

I was driving home thinking about this really great Moment in Time that is really special to me...It was 5pm Monday July 23rd 2012...I was sitting at Brisbane Airport waiting for by bags to arrive (they sent on following flight) return from a Long Weekend away visiting My best friends @ Hunter Valley..I had a 2hr wait do I decided to head outside for freshair..There was a bench seat - I asked if I could sit.. (not noticing handsome spunk of a man there)We started chatting - small talkHe was waiting for the next flight to Townsville-he has missed his flight...We had a lot in common- grew up in same town yadedadeya...very flirtation conversation no sexual talk.Both single- talked about our lifestyle etc etc..We talked about were we lived in Brisbane and what we did career wise.We lived 4 suburbs away from each other.We spoke about our weekend..I mentioned I had been to HOPE Winery - his eyes lit up...WOW! his last name was HOPE..Then I couldn't find my mobile..He offered to ring it from his mobile...I declined and said oh it has to be in my bag somewhere.The conversation lasted more than an hour - it was amazing.It was time for us to go out way - we walked to the entrance of the airport...I thanked him for his time - he thanked me and he said it was all his pleasure..I walked away...then I stopped dead in my tracks..I looked behind (unsure why) for one last look I guess??? There he was going up the escalator looking down at me, grinning from ear to ear.I smiled (a shy smile) and waved bye.Turned around and had this biggest grin on my face from here to kingdom come.I often think of this.....I question my self - why didn't I give my number ya big goose...I think about the conversation, the look in his eye, the cute dimple on right cheek...I often wonder what he was thinking?Would he have called??I don't believe it was true Love...just fate I guess?I recall the whole thing perfectlyAt the end of the day - for me it's a special moment in time I won't forget.I'm sure others out there have experienced the same.........

When I was traveling through France about 12 years ago (newly single) i stayed for a few days at a chateau in Bordeaux that had been turned into a hotel/winery. In the evening I got talking to the bar manager (who was English) and we hit it off and talked all night and ended up going back to his room....which happened to be the top room in the round tower of the chateau. In the morning he got up early (as he had work to do in the vineyard) but kissed me and told me to stay in bed as long as I liked. I was lying in his bed with the sheets around my waist in this perfectly round room, the sun was streaming through the open window, there was a terracotta pot with a geranium sitting on the window sill and a little bird sitting on the side of the pot singing away to itself. Viva la France!! That moment is sandblasted into my brain as utter perfection but for the life of me I cannot remember his name, even though we spent two nights together.
