Hi Puppy, I agree with you. I dont want my face on there for privacy reasons. Once i get to know someone happy to exchange or show my face on Webcam. This does seem to put some people off....But it shouldnt.

Well I have face pix.. Oh and a good job and have been recognised by a few ppl from here in public.. No biggie really Whats the worst that can happen you get called a bitch for blocking that sleazy guy, couple?? But yeah I can under stand the down side if your trying to hide your personal life.. But some of us just have to get with the times and the fact that we all have a life after work sure you wouldn't tell your friends your into threesomes and the odd bit of girl play 30 years ago.. But the whole " I'm an angel " is long gone... If my employer was to question me about being on here he'd get an abrupt Yeah and!! as my contract had nothing in it to do with sites like this or what I do in my own time. Personally I hate adding ppl to msn just to see face pix. Most of the time only to block n delete them a few Min's later because there's no attraction there. And even on here with flirts n mail I tend to ignore the profiles without pix.. As for ppl coping my pix.. Well I really don't care they'll get caught out soon enough. This is the only dating site I'm on so if you see me anywhere else it's a fake!! Good post puppy.. Hope to see more from U... Pixie xxx

I show my face in my pg... but I wear this totally radical wig and dark sunglasses... Truth is I'm totally bald and blind as a bat without my coke bottle spectacles. As a professional accountant, :p, I can't be too careful with my personal details. That's why I often wear a super hero disguise. Hugs Gazza

Wonder Woman with her lasso and slave bracelets and bondage fantasy just gets my submissive little heart racing :P Puppy...I certainly agree with you that you have every right not to put up face pics and I think that your reasons are excellent. In the past, I have met with people for an initial first drink without insisting on seeing a face pic. I won't even ever ask for one, to me it is something that should be freely offered and doesn't automatically exclude you from my "to do" list :P

The are always going to be issues with these sorts of things and unfortunately there are always the people who steal the pics and the sites that use them on other "rate me" sites etc.. The way we look at it on here is: If someone you know recognises you in your profile pics then they have seen them because a: there on here perving at pics or b: there on here looking for the same reasons as the rest of us, cause were interested in meeting up.. We have had a few paths crossed with people we know, work with, relatives etc because of our activities on these sites. Sometimes we play and sometimes we dont depending on the risks involved.. The wife enjoyed 2 brothers at once though lol...

We prefer to see a face pic, but it's not a games stopper if we don't. As long as there is enough pics of BOTH of a couple to give as a good idea of what they look like then we wil progress to msn/meet up. We do show our face pics in PG, but not of us naked...our face pics are seperate from our naked photos, so that if somene does steal them, then there is no way of connecting our naked bodies with us...oh except for the specific tatoos we have lol. any it was our choice to load our nake photo's and were happy with the risks. Likewise Pups have the right to not load face pics. PS - Sophie can Kilee borrow your wonderwoman outfit..would love to see her dressed as wonderwoman..i think i feel a new forum topic coming up..except Gaz woud hog with his favourite outfits :-) TREV

I have a face pic and I also have been reconised... No big deal.. What people do in there personal life is just that AND tha e other person is obviously on the site too so it takes them having to admit it :-) Personally it really annoys me that more guys dont have pictures of theres faces because i am really into a nice smile and nice eyes and its really hard for me to want to contact someone without knowing what there face looks like.. I also feel weird knowing what a guys chest looks like before I know what his face looks like... Its not supposed to work that way!!!

I understand the concern here and the reasoning.Unfortunately almost every website that has a terms and conditions with uploading pictures there is a exceedingly high chance that they will own them too so you can choose where to exercise discretion but in my opinion it's just the risk we all take on a daily basis when using such an open information network that's called the internet.I'm not saying that you're wrong to have the choice to not show face pictures, just that you must remember it's more common that you think. It is an unfortunate conundrum on such a site like this, as you pointed out a lot of people seem to demand a picture.Personally i have face pictures here, one in public and the rest in a private gallery. But that's enough of me ranting.Cheers, HH

Phew, glad we still might be on Sophie's to do list! Good for you Pixie, but I think you're only looking at your own circumstances here, now let's say you're a primary school teacher (which neither of us are) do you think the Department of Education would be as liberal if a few irrate parents started kicking up a stink? Now you know and we know that being a little naughty doesn't mean we're complete social deviants (except for maybe Gaz ;)) but the world is still a tad narrow minded at large! Oh Pix we do understand the frustration with MSN but it's only a minute to check and block if need be! Gaz you're going to have to show me your disguise, I'm even more intrigued now! We have a wardrobe of dress ups, so maybe a fancy dress, roller disco orgy for Sophie?

So many of you need to read the initial comment remember no pic dont bother contacting you wont get a reply.....well sorry for all you people who were after Hugh Jackman or Elle Mcpherson they cant contact you because they simply could put their pic in here now cud they....so maybe the best one got away just because you wouldnt chat without a photo.. But thats good 4 me because they now contact me on a regular basis and we have had a lot of fun reconsider

Mr puppy... We'd be curious to know if you can access our pg without us giving permission or is your question about copying pics only about public galleries and 'privates' (excuse the pun) you have permission to?We won't go to msn to look at someone's pic or have them look at ours and reject or be rejected at that stage... on pics alone... as we have been in the past, DURING a webcam chat :-( So we keep our face pics in pg only for people we are currently in contact with and have seen theirs first, knowing we can remove permission unlike pics we have sent via email, and had only left permission with 20 or so people on our last profile before we deleted it, most of who were on our friends list.Mr 5ON4U6H7Y... Actually it's not that simple but then nothing ever is, when you think about it... Mr P was told in the past by his boss that he was signing up cos he was considering starting a dating site and wanted to get some ideas which was when we put our face pics in private gallery and there's also the fact suggested by another poster at another time that we just don't want people (family, friends, co-workers) knowing all our private kinks...PP2 in tandem

Both of my jobs require a 'working with children' blue card that requires a police check and all. I also do volunteer work with children. At one point I got a bit paranoid about people knowing I was on this site and it causing issues. But then I figured, it's my private sex life, I'm not doing anything wrong or hiding anything. It shouldn't make any difference. Of course some people do think that your sex life is their business and they can make a judgement on it. That's where the Discrimination Act comes in. Altho, I have lost a job quite quickly with no reason or warning and I wonder if it has something to do with someone discussing/discovering my lifestyle. Sexuality has nothing to do with how fit you are to work with kids (unless you're a pedo)

ME mrs Sexycountrycpl works in a profession that would not take kindly to naked photos of myself on the internet. I figure I am not doing anything wrong at all by being on this site. I have nothing to hide and anyone I have met and explained my life style choices to have all pretty much said - you're a consenting adult and invloved with with otherconsenting adults so there is not problem. This includes family, firends, strangers and the Human resources manager for my work place. Furthermore if anyone who does come aross my photos on this site then they are all nromal face pics like on my facebook profile plus for someone to find the pics online they must have been looking for them .... he who is without sin can throw the first stone . Mr Sexy has had people at his work recongise him, after a big week end of swinging Mr Sexy was at work feeling very tired and sore when one of the managers asked what he got up to on the weekend, Mr sexy said "you won;t believe me even if i told you" to which his manager replied "try me sexycountryclp". His manager had no issues at all with and how can he that would sexual discrimation.

Peaches you can rest assured that to my knowledge at least you can't break into someones private gallery without their permission. It's just copying pics is easy peasy so even if you remove access they can still have your pics. We're pretty happy go lucky and don't take offense at others rules, if they don't match, cool, there's plenty that do!Actually one of the hottest, intelligent and deliciously bi single girls we ever met had absolutely no photos on her profile and we only messaged a couple of times then took a chance to meet for a drink - quite glad we did!!! And everyone says single bi girls are hard to find!!!!

We have face pics in the private gallery. So, if some couple recognizes us, what next? "Yay, those guys are swingers". Umm, ok, so how do you know? You found our picture WHERE? What in the world were you doing on that site? :) Oh, and the pics that have our faces are very innocent, so we can always claim that they were stolen from some "social" website if we need to. But had no problems so far. Anyway, if someone is reluctant to put their pics online - that's fine, even separate passport-sized photos will do, by email, msn etc ... as long as we have some idea of what you look like. The most funny experience: A couple asked us to call them on the phone, and log on to the website at the same time, and then they said like "Ready?" Yeah, sure ... "We're giving you access" and in a few seconds, "Ok, have you seen the pics? We're removing access!" and all that trouble so we could just say yep, thanks guys, that's great but we're going to give it a miss sorry. :(

Maate we also work with kids and it's just not worth the risk. Sure we're all free thinkers here but laws or not when it comes to kids society and the law will always err on the side of safety. Would the parents of the kids you deal with be happy even though they are on here? Just not worth it mate!

If you work with children, then it's definitely not a good idea to be so open as revealing your identity on here. Especially if you don't want to jeopardise your jobs. As Puppy mentioned before, there are a hell of a lot of narrowminded people out there, and those minds becomes narrower still in relation to children. Take that teacher who almost got the sack because she got pregnant, but she wasn't married to her partner at the time. For my personal circumstances, all my close friends and family know that I use this site, anyone else I'm not too concerned about. If they know I'm on here, it stands to reason they're most likely on here as well, regardless of what excuses they make. I was blessed with very liberal parents, they've brought me up to be open and honest about most things, to not care too much about what other people think. However I can understand others being put in position where their livelihood is at stake that peoples sensitivities must be taken into consideration. However, if a person initiates contact with me, I do expect a face pic in the first one or two messages.

what if your a parent? should u put your face pics on here?? we are parents and figured people will normally be to gutless to say anything to your face about it anyway.. i will argue to im blue in the face with any1 about what me and my wife do in our private lifes. More important things to worry about then... "OMG they have sex with other people and r on a adult dating website" put your face pics up u only live once y live it under a rock for fear of wat might happen.. lol scott

We dont show them in our public gallery. In our private photos we do and definately will not meet anyone that we have not seen face photos of. From our experiance if couples wont show their faces before meeting. They are not swingers and members of the coffee / knitting club. Cheers

We were feeling a little bit unsure about it anyway, but having read through this forum, and with both of us having jobs that we'd rather not lose, we've taken our face pics and moved them to our private gallery. Now we just have to wait for RHP to approve the replacements.

Blasphemer you should not feel like you have to hide because of your job! Working with children does not mean you are not entitled to the same rights under law as those who don't. There was once a time not so long ago when gay males were not welcomed as teachers or cares because "angry parents" complained, everyone (well most people) these days were say those parents were wrong and that gay males have just as much place in the teaching and caring profession as any other person. So I hope the time will come when swingers will not be looked upon as freaks because of our lifestyle choices but that day seems to be a long way off especially when people involved in the scene still hold the same view. But like the gay movement, women's movement, rights of the disabled and rights of all races people will not chance their thoughts unless challenged to do so by the brave few who stand up for themselves. so yes I am a teacher and a swinger

Well, I don't want you anywhere NEAR my kids you pervo!Ok, that's not what I think, but surprisingly it's OK for people to think that and go screaming to the media if their sensibilities are offended. I totally hear what you're saying about the gay movement. 20 years ago.. heck even ten years ago, gay teachers were abhorred, but honestly I'm not prepared to take that on myself.Imagine the heading: "Teacher Sex Porn Lesbian Disgusting Porn Filth Arrrh We're All Gonna Die Scandal!"That's extreme, but not far off the mark. The general public would lap it up.Hence, face pics go in private gallery.

Ah some interesting points as always in these forums. Well we think there's a big difference between gay issues and swinger issues. We don't identify as "swingers" as a genetic predisposition. It's a choice. We see nothing wrong with it for us but do we want to come out and march for swingers rights? No! Swinging can be some harmless fun but we don't think it should be completely accepted by general society. Societies have their codes, morals and laws there to protect the populace. Now some people can act a little outside those rules with no harm done but there are many that might get into trouble if there are no rules to follow. Countycouple, you're right it's a "scene" just as pill-popping raves are a scene and it's a scene that doesn't need complete acceptance nor should it have it. To compare swinging rights to gay rights is ridiculous! Oh Blasphemer, nice little bod pic there mate :)

Swinging can be some harmless fun but we don't think it should be completely accepted by general society. Well but why shouldn't it be completely accepted? Find a difference - Two couples went to the movies together - Two couples had sex together There's no difference! Oh, wait ... there's a word 'sex' in the second line! General society goes berserk! Looks like if someone's caught cheating, for example, there will be a bit of noise, but that's generally accepted as something more or less common and people rarely lose their jobs etc. because of that ... but if someone's a swinger, omg! perversion! Well, really? One thing is usually the total destruction of faith, and the other is some fun and unusual experience or adventure ... isn't the view of the general society a bit opposite compared to what it should really be?

Who needs a face pic when you can pull chicks on here in seconds with your six pack?? But serously,if you feel the need to hide yourself & be ashamed of other people recognizing that you're living your one chance at life & enjoying your right to do what you want with your body...then maybe this is not for you.I'm also guessing you're the same people who never meet in real life also because it's the fantasy that gets you off & not the scary reality!! If someone says they saw me on a sex site,I'd say to them "so what, you must be a member too, looking for the same things as me to see my pic...join me for some fun or STF up and get a life"

That's all well and good whitehawk77, and I agree with your last statement regarding the fact that they must also be on the website to recognise you, but in my opinion this isn't exactly considered 'the norm' in society. I do not mind being different, but I would rather people knew because I wanted them to know, rather than someone to stumble across my picture on this site and then have to answer a bunch of questions about it afterwards. The reason I don't want my face picture to be public is because I prefer to disclose that myself once I can trust someone, and I have personal information displayed on my profile that I wouldn't necessarily share with people I know outside of the internet who weren't a friend/lover.If you are happy and comfortable enough to show your picture on your public profile then all the more power to you! But I think it's bullshit that people take umbridge to those of us who want to remain 'anonomous'. I am not saying that you are one of these people, merely addressing a generalisation.

We have always had face pics on any adult site we have used, such as RHP or AMM. As for jobs we care about, we both work for the same company and all our friends/work mates know about our lifestyle and what we do. In fact, its something we have never been ashamed of - afterall, if they dont like what we do, thats their choice. We think the biggest problem is not so much the lack of face pics but of ANY pics at all ! Bev and Peter

Isn't it all about your care factor? Some people care greatly if they are recognised/picture stolen etc in here, others don't, and that's what will determine wether someone puts up a face pic or not. T.

We completely agree with a lot of what's been said, and we strongly believe that, in a perfect world, we should be entitled to live our lives as we see fit. We're not hurting anyone, so STFU and mind your own business, prudish jerks! That's the theory, but in the real world, people love scandal and it's just not worth the risk given our chosen jobs. We wish that wasn't the case but it is, and any amount of whining or trying to "stick it to the man" by putting them up there anyway isn't going to help anything. For the most part, we couldn't give a crap if someone recognises us. Hell, it might lead to something fun for all concerned! Fact is, though, that if the wrong person recognises us and shares that with some other wrong people, it could cause us a shitload of grief we just don't want to have to deal with.Sorry sexycountrycpl. You're right, but it's not going to be our crusade. More power to you for taking it on :)Also, whitehawk, you couldn't be more wrong. We're not ashamed of anything, we're just exercising a bit of caution because we know there are a lot of dickwits out there who would just love to cause shit.

Peach, it was not too long ago and in some parts of the world still in the case that most people in society saw being gay was seen as a choice, and something that people can control. Of course today we all know that is crazy. Furthermore Peaches you may not identify yourself as a swinger even though you engage in the lifestyle and scene but others do. For those people who do identify themselves as swingers it is not all that they are just like being gay is not all that a gay person is.

Does whitehawk deserve a reply, probably not, but just because we would never reply to his wink doesn't mean we don't meet. We've met some great people off here (usually the more discrete ones) and also are destined to have a wonderful time with the newlyweds, see you on the honeymoon Gaz and Sophie! Well talking indepth with many of our gay friends, their "gayness" IS something that pretty much defines them. It's not a lifestyle choice, they have no choice over it at all. Swinging, for us at least, is a choice and something we only choose to do on occasion so for us we do prefer to keep the level of discretion up. Maybe for some it is a major life force, if so then jump out of the closet, tell all your family, friends and work colleagues and stand proud! We'll accept your choice and support you too but we're staying in our warm and cosy closet thank you very much!

ooh the ppl that do hav face pics up on their public profile do hav very valid points, i also admire the bravery/guts of it, because u will get recognised not if its when... i hav been recognised, but thru swappin priv galleries and i think i handled it well, wasnt the end of the earth lol. Mrs P is right u dont need to log in 2 view public galleries, i checked this site out before i joined to c if there was what im lookin for. I guess for me i want privacy, its part of the appeal of havin fun from this site, im a single mum who works full time and i really dont want that label that guys/girls would put on me if i was open and honest about my sex life, i dont want stalkers Not every1 is like that but im in a minority group and i hav alot of things i want achieve in life right now, and this site is meant 2 b fun, thats what i get out of it :)

anyone on here heard of a screen dump???u can take a pic of ur screen and everything on it and paste it into word or something, then everything is urs.its very handy for uni purposes but in this situation it could be used wrongly.but its true, anyone on here is here for a reason so how can they judge you for something they are doing too.or is this where the saying 'do as i say not as i do' comes into it.we arent doing anything illegal, pills at a rave are actually illegal so hardly a comparison. food for thoughtsjessica
