sure, but instead, couldn't they give me a discount on membership for NOT reporting fake profiles... it's just more work to recreate them later ;)

🤣🤣🤣 lmao! Are there really that many fakes? I don’t think I’ve ever come across one on this site. Or is it just female profiles? - Posted from rhpmobile

We have come across them in all categories. I even had my pic stolen for one of them, luckily someone noticed and let me know. Personally I think the only answer is that everybody should be verified and I don't really understand what the issue is to be not..... Other than your not who you say you are 😏 - Posted from rhpmobile

All the time. An intro of "Hey can I see you PG pics" is a sure sign of a fake - Posted from rhpmobile

Lionsdoll, Do a search by recently joined, rather than checking people out by their activity. Activity shows some sort of realness, even if not who they say they are, might be a real person over a bot, auto generation etc. Also, do a username search for something random like jjjj, kkkk, etc, dozens of profiles each time. I once listed here 10 of profiles all made at about the same time, with no content except scrambled usernames like jhlweuirehfsdnfkln. My post was removed (I implied in my post that these were not real profiles. My bad).

We’ve found a bunch of photo collectors on here - they are usually unverified and easy to spot, especially after a few lines of messaging. Most likely men playing without their wives’ permission or just out for a giggle. - Posted from rhpmobile

Isn't then it makes easier for you as you can simply filter them. Fakes are more then welcomed provided they are willing to share the costs. I mean be paid members.

I have only come across a few "fake" profiles, they were removed promptly when reported.. I would like to see RHP remove dead profiles that have not been used in over 1 year.

How do you spot a fake? Feeling quite dishearted if there are that many! Just been called one and I guess that people get burned and can’t trust, but I am not a fake at all, so totally has put me off as a ‘newbie’ staying on this site or any other really! Just because I only had one photo on! At least my face was showing, I thought!! So many people hide theirs and I guess people have reasons for their profiles but really, how do we spot fakes? - Posted from rhpmobile

Don't be disheartened, just go about your normal style. Verified profiles aren't fool proof but are a good start. It's a learning process. And it isn't a problem just here. It's everywhere in the cyber world. Don't let the fakes spoil your experience in here. There are a lot of genuine people here and a lot of great times to be had. Just keep your mind open and don't put all your eggs in the one basket. And while rolling out the cliches, if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. Good luck

1.They are generally new profiles 2. Woman or couples............( i'd say guys pretending) 3. Guests 4. One pic or none 5. Little to no info, and the "ask me" Read the verbage that they have and it doesn't match the title, or what they are looking for. Eg: Title 43 yr old woman, read the verbage and its " i'm 23 looking for .......... I could post links to at 6 profiles I'm going to start asking for 100pt I'D checks soon Anyway......I'm off on a hot date tonight, and if she doesn't look like her profile pic, she's going to get one hell of a cripple nipple. Ok, that's an official lie..........I haven't seen her pic

On here and other sites. Sometimes I feel like a magnet for them. Verification process is simple so I don't understand why anyone genuine wouldn't verify their profile. Hawt I agree. They should remove disused profiles that clog up the site.

I got abused, accused of being fake then reported, because I didn't reply to some man's onslaught of pestering messages. Silly man got himself banned instead of me, after I sent the screenshots of his abuse. - Posted from rhpmobile

Glad to see at least a few of the obviously fake newly joined profiles disappearing relatively quickly. Especially the ones with photos and text copied straight from Tinder or other places. (The text mentions Tinder, in words like "be the 1 to get me get off this Tinder app" etc) The sad thing is, who (and where) is the original person appearing in most fake profile images, across all platforms (even if it's a clear picture of a model easily found online, or a dodgy, grainy, snapchat style image complete with filters)? On another site I tried twice to report a profile using pictures easily googled as being from Getty Images, but to no avail. (I'm glad even a bot isn't dumb enough to use my AMAZING body shots to generate fake profile interest lol)

Well I've started reporting a lot of the obviously fake ones, and rhp have been incredibly prompt with taking them down. I think if we all take the time to report them it'll clear up the whole experience a lot. Next step is to clear out the profiles that haven't logged on for 6 months or more! - Posted from rhpmobile

Agreed. Verification is the surest way to know you're talking to a genuine person whose photos are online and I noticed that RHP has a higher rate of verified profiles than other dating sites I have come across. Something else, perhaps unrelated: some profiles don't even show the last time the owner went online. Am wondering if this has anything to do with being fake or the owner having not been online for ages.

Thoughts partly based on posts by past posters to support their point from the time... All we really know is some one/people, necessary to represent their profile type, posed for a pic with the code asked for written on a piece of paper in front of them. In the best interests of our security, I'm fond of the idea of healthy scepticism and not taking anything for granted. Peachy, long time lesson learner, rose coloured glasses removed...

To equate verified profiles with genuine people.... Which makes verification ultimately flawed.... It only removes the possibility of the profile being a bot profile....nothing more nothing less... Validations are also flawed....and again it doesn’t prove how genuine someone is.... - Posted from rhpmobile
