Bon Bon on me! My beautiful friends always comment on it and it's my signature fragrance. I don't have a specific one for my beautiful playmates because fragrances change when they come into contact with people's skin and natural scents! I so love nuzzling into someone's neck and smelling their unique aroma which is a combination of their choice of fragrance and their natural scent :) Mary xx

My favourites for a night out are Vanille Narcisse by L Occitane, and Lancomes La Vie est Belle. On guys, I actually prefer straight from the shower rather than anything overpowering but I do like Acqua de Gio and also Black Pepper by Molton Brown. I spritz the Body Shops Vanilla perfume on every morning

And my migraines are generally caused by smells I loath most perfumes. I only use the body shops vanilla spray as I know it's safe. absolutely can't do sweet, floral fragrances as I will get a migraine and anything lavender based absolutely kills me. Yes makes work lots of fun trying to dodge the scents. It's horrific when people coat themselves in it and then spend time on my office 😞

Not really into the fragrance thing but I lean towards the more natural scents. That said I remember back in my late teens being given Paco Rabanne each birthday and Christmas from my Nan and I did wear that often. But I am a sucker for vanilla I am more turned on by the fresh scent of shower clean skin, gives me that oh wow feeling like that sweet smell of the bush after rain

So it's all just me and about me when it comes to the likes and dislikes 😛 My top favourite perfumes whigh I am currently using are: Estée Lauder Sensuous Nude and Sensuous Noir range. Both have sweet scent in them and both can be worn for day and night, especially Sensuous Noir, perfect for night time wear and a good perfume to wear for intimate scene too 😛 - Posted from rhpmobile

The perfume I wear reflect the mood I am in. Unfortunate for me, my taste in perfumes is just way too difficult for me to get as most are exclusive French perfumes I discovered and picked up overseas, mainly in Paris. It just reminds me of how sensual the city is and lots of great memories that my ex-love have given me. For day, I like something light floral/fruity or lily of the valley based. I have stocked up onthe following as they not stocked in Australia: Les Chasse Aux Papillons (L'Artisan Parfumeur) - flirty floral, lightFraiche Passiflore (maitre Parfumeur et Gantier) - Peachy passionfruit with hint of orange blossoms; reminds me of spring nights perfumed by night blossomsDiorissimo - lily of the valley and ylang-ylang For Evening or special occasions: Mitsuoko - by Guerlain - Classic Oriental - designed in 1919 - floral/citrusy with spicy base notes... JOY - by Jean Patou - beautiful rose base perfume, designed in 1930s ; so feminine elegantFRACAS by Robert Piguet - another favourite - tuberose, jasmine, orange blossoms; so elegant; to be worn sparringlyLYS MEDITERRANEE by Edouard Fletcher - for house of Frederic Malle - spicy orange blossoms, lily of the valley, amber notes, vanilla and ginger... also reminds me of ylang-ylang. Intoxicating. Nowadays, when I go overseas, i hit my favourite parfumerie in London or Paris and stock up. For men, I love the smell of Tom Ford range - Velvet orchid or Fluer de Chine. Hugo Boss (reminds me of nuzzing my ex-love's neck)

Red Door used to drive me wild - there were a couple of the Victoria Secret body sprays that were really nice, too. I used to wear Gravity, but have found some cheap knock-offs that resemble it. I've found that, for me, the scent of a woman and the fragrance she wears is strongly linked to her identity in my brain. I've been walking through a store before and had a woman pass by me wearing the perfume that a friend wears and I had to do a double-take to make sure that my friend wasn't actually there.

Yes makes work lots of fun trying to dodge the scents. It's horrific when people coat themselves in it and then spend time on my office 😞 Strong perfumes and colognes can spell trouble for me too. I have to walk through the perfume section in department stores holding my breath! They have the power to send me straight down the rabbit hole into a very unpleasant migraine wonderland. There have been a couple of occasions where the female of the couple has worn strong perfume making it very awkward as I run to my bag to fish out some meds or to throw up!

The recall of a particular smell, good or bad is of course the strongest sense/memory link. Little wonder we have strong recall of a cool partner and his or her scent For me on women... V&R's Flowerbomb, Jo Malone's Amber and Lavender and Poem On, me, and this is the embarrassing bit, it depends on my mood. If feeling a little sensitive, Issey M's L'eau D'issey, if off to a corporate BS and testosterone filled meeting, Givenchy Xeryus. A casual meal, Boss orange and if melancholy, Paco Rabanne's 1 million, the last gift form my late Mum

Quoting 'happy0450'Without sounding too gay (meant in the nicest way) I smell an attempt at wit with a hint of ignorance and a base note of homophobia... It's giving me a headache.

I enjoy your often articulate and insightful comments however ... The aspersion, even if perhaps meant flippantly of homobia is regrettable. As the father of an amazing deeply loved and gay son and strident supporter of gay marriage nothing could be further from the truth. As you have noted several time, rarely does any good come from playing the person rather than the moot, in the RHP community, or another community.

Grrr - I just posted this and it vanished! I just wanted to say that I understand why Meander made the assumption she did. The combination of "without sounding too gay" and "this is the embarrassing bit" in your post gives the impression that caring about fragrances and emotions is somehow "gay", and therefore something to be embarrassed about. That's obviously not how you meant it, but it's the impression I got when I first read your post. I completely understand the melancholic associations with 1 million - I feel the same about Coty's Exclamation. My grandmother used to wear it. When I was growing up, I'd sneak into her room, and spray some on myself. She would always pretend she didn't know, and my grandfather would kiss me on the cheek, and call me his pretty flower.

Yep, that's it. Quoting 'happy0450'As you have noted several time, rarely does any good come from playing the person rather than the moot, in the RHP community, or another community. Happy, my comment was about your post, not you as a person. I thought was clear? Thanks for responding the way you did though, I think this is great: As the father of an amazing deeply loved and gay son and strident supporter of gay marriage nothing could be further from the truth.
