Fictitious Dopplegangers

July 29 2016

Who is your fictional doppleganger? And I don't mean just physically, but personality-wise, what fictional character do you most relate to? I often get told I'm similar to Jessica Rabbit but that's probably more because I dress up as her...a lot. I love dressing up as JR because I feel like I can take on more of her personality traits that I don't have and wish that I did - sassy with a quiet confidence that oozes sex appeal. What character do you wish you were more like personality-wise? Miss Little xx

...like the Batman...but with a sense of humour. Lone wolf, strong sense of justice and all that. An early Batman, before Robin was killed...and the world became a dark place. Or maybe not...I'm just not that dark and morbid.Maybe a cross between Batman and Superman...or more likely, Captain America? Yes. High moral values, sense of justice, a willing alternative thinker and still the lone wolf...no dependance on a Lois Lane here. Interestingly, as a boy my favourite comic character was Iron Man. But I'm nothing like him...the extrovert playboy...other than an interest in mechanical things.

There was a time a few years ago that a friend referred to me as the 'Stripper's Batman' because I was making a habit of pulling some of my friends in the dancing industry out of bad situations. These days, though, I'm much more inclined towards the proclivities of my namesake, Tyrion Lannister (and taking a page from Koolgrey, specifically post-murdering-his-father-Tyrion.) I aspire to Tyrion's intelligence, wit, and his way with women. Really, why wouldn't I want to be the God of Tits and Wine?

Wonder Woman. Capable, generous, a woman of strength and grace, she values herself and fights for the rights of others. Plus, she's sexy as hell, and that hair ... mmmmmm. Yep, I'd love to be even a fraction of her. - Posted from rhpmobile

The flawed imperfect Zena with a dark past.Fighting both Gods and mortals to right wrongs . Who wouldn't want to be her?, But then there is also Miss.Marple who has sometimes appeared here.. I can't deny her she is too persistent in her deceptively mild mannered way 😈 Q

I'd love to be Elise Clifton-Ward, played by Angelina Jolie in The Tourist. Love love love her wardrobe! Love her air of mystery and how sexy and classy she was! I also love the contemporary Wonder Woman character in the Batman vs Superman movie. Not when she is in costume, but when she was in her designer clothes, flirting with Batman! Or, Emma Russell, the American scientist played by Elizabeth Shue in The Saint. Loved the ending when she finally got to meet up with The Saint (Val Kilmer) in a remote cabin for a prolonged love-making session. MmmmMmmmMmmm... It's all about the action, the clothes, the mystery and the sex for me!

Patrick Bateman? Nah, too fastidious. Holden Caulfield? Too young. I know, Barry from High Fidelity! And Dewey Finn from School of Rock, for that matter. The other day my daughter was telling me she describes me to people I haven't met as exactly like Jack Black in both of those movies. I'll take it as a compliment. - Posted from rhpmobile

some of the core elements of a cross between Bryan Mills (the father in the Taken series played by Liam Neeson), and Jason Bourne. Generally seen as quiet and unassuming from the outside, but both highly capable and intelligent. You wouldn't assume anything much about them as you walk past them in the street, but muck about with them or their family / loved ones, and watch the place explode.

from the book series. I have some of her traits already, such as being short, difficult to get close to and slow to trust people. I'd love to also be able to control the dead, kick some serious arse, and fuck sexy vampires and werewolves...

but I wouldn't mind being Matrim Cauthon from the Wheel of Time series. Lucky with the laidies and dice, natural leader although he doesn't like the burden, bit cheeky and likes doing things his own way, although he does have his own sense of honour and moral code.

Surely that could only show in the theatres attended by men in raincoats and dark glasses! I read bits of Anita Blake, but found a Meredith one as an audiobook, though listening to it I was constantly fiddling the volume lest it be loud for other commuters to hear just what was happening with The Darkness at the faerie court.

For some reason, last time I viewed this forum I could only see the second page, so missed the entire first page of responses! Some great answers there - and some characters that I"m not familiar with but love the sound of. It's funny the characters that we relate to and why. Would make for some interesting psyche study I think... Not by me, though! Quoting 'S_OnTheLoose' Quoting 'LittleGiant' I love the Anita Blake series! Have you read the Merry Gentry series? I had the same thing reading the books and worrying people might be reading over my shoulder! No it isn't (to my knowledge) being made into a movie BUT if it was - I would totally take on that role! A harem full of supernaturally beyond impossibly gorgeous men at my disposal and being a kick-ass, sassy faerie princess to boot...Yes please. If they made 50 Shades into a movie (albeit not a very good one, but better than the books, I'll admit) than I'm sure they could tame Merry Gentry enough to make it happen. In the meantime, I'll just keep tagging Laurell K Hamilton in statuses on social media and hope she sees me and decides I MUST play Merry Miss Littlexx
