  I didn't have a partner at the time, so my first bi-experience was an FFM with a lovely couple. And wouldn't a bi-experience suggest a situation with both males and females present?

  Yes a bi experience could be with both a male and female present. But the way I see it, you can be bi and have had experiences with the same gender as yourself, either alone or with others. I guess the way I define bi sexualism is that you prefer both men and women, not one over the other, thereby not being straight nor gay. I am trying not to sterotype a sexual preference as whatever floats your boat is whatever..and there should really be no labels. There shouldn't be a need to justify your sexual preferences. But sometimes, you have to find a median in how you define your sexual appetite when conversing or playing with others, so everyone knows where they stand. Does that make sense?

  The wife's first time was in a FFM, although hubby didn't participate. Just sat there and watched. I remember him being a little too paralyzed to do anything, even play with himself.   Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their experiences first hand. The bi lady who is willing to join me for a "girls play guys watch" with the possibility if him joining in later on type scenario has not been an easy task to date. I respect everyone's decisions on the subject and I hope my first bi experience with hubby is a favourable one. ;-) However, it would be nice to hear from any guys who are willing to share their story of their first bi experience...although I can understand why the guys might be a bit hesitant to share. No matter. :-).

  I've been single for the whole time I've been on this site and thus went out alone for my first - like Otori, it was a FFM situation. Not having had any girl-on-girl experience in my life, I found this a more reassuring 'transition' than if I were to meet a woman on her own, as if I made up my mind that I wasn't bisexual after all, at least there was the guy there that we could both pay attention to and the evening could still progress. However I didn't have to worry about that - one taste of the apple and I was a convert haha.From my understanding, many couples choose to stick together and want equal participation/for the man to watch as this is an experience that they want to share with one another. A lot of women are also more comfortable with their partners present, and for this reason I generally encourage attached women playing solo with hubby's permission to bring their partners to at least the first public meet so that I can see a more natural side of them than the front people usually put on when they meet complete stranger. However, there are some attached women who are comfortable playing with other women on their own, and in that case it's something that you do for yourself, for your own pleasure and experience.   As a woman, I could be seen as overthinking a very simplistic concept, but here it goes; Most women I have known outside of this lifestyle who admitted to me that they had a bi experience all did it alone - just them and a female. Only one woman I know actually tried it with their partner in a threesome. I guess in my head, a woman experimenting for the first time would naturally have that experience on their own, at a time when they were most comfortable and it not being a free for all show for a man. It's just about two women exploring each other and giving into mutual pleasure for both of them. I had often thought that was how I would have my first bi experience. But because my bi curious tendencies have only really surfaced since marriage and because I will not play alone without hubby anyway, my first bi experience whenever that may be will be witnessed by hubby with or without his participation. And that's absolutely fine by me. I guess I just don't want to feel or be portrayed by the other woman or her partner if she has one, as being an object on show who is only doing it for the mans' viewing pleasure at least for my first time.
