First time shaved

December 13 2010

I recently shaved my nether region for the first time and now wonder why you would continue to do so? It is uncomfortable and the shaving rash experienced on the face, seems to occur in kind on the area where my beautiful mane once proudly resided, it really is not what I'd consider attractive. Has any one else been through this, does anyone stay shaved, guys/girls; thoughts comments suggestions? Also, what do most women prefer? O' natural, trimmed, clean shaved? Either way I wont be doing it again :/

The shaving rash was caused by the bacteria on your skin. Next time use a good quality fresh razor, a good quality shaving cream and before you start use a bit of detol or similar and you wont have anywhere near as much of a rash. If you do it everyday or every time you shower it will get easier so persevere. The responses on a previous thread suggest that many ladies prefer to perform oral sex on a shaved genital area.

Yeah, I should have thought about the consequences of using the same razor that has already been used to shave my face, still the regrowth is not something I'm finding much fun either :/ I am glad the is one lady thus far who is happy for a guy to keep it as is. Although perhaps I may persist using these tips and see if the harrowing after effects subside ;)

when 1st doing it encountered same, but after using a gel for very sensative skin and baby powder afterwards, doing it often now to maintain that smoothness is a breeze and couldnt go back now and no rash, and when we see a M pic nowadays the 1st thing we comment on is how hairy or not lol

Au natual is a oh no no for me when it comes to oral sex. Having a forest in ones face is not pleasant. And shaved with really prickly regrowth is an extreme OH NO NO when it comes to actual sex. Girly bits are delicate and prickles can be downright painful. (Same goes for face shaving btw...) Smooth is absolutely best for me but if it grows back prickly then you're best keeping it trimmed to a length where there are no prickles and no bush either. You could try waxing. That has softer regrowth but you'd have to be willing to put up with a bit of pain for a few minutes.

I think I'm going to regrow my fellatio-fro. However, in future I will remove the hair from my sack and trim the the rest, give it some style :D. Not too hairy, but not having to worry about the day to day upkeep of avoiding rashes, constant shaving and ingrown hairs. If people don't like my carefully styled pubic hair, that's their issue not mine ;). On the topic of looking bigger, again not my issue :P hehehe.

Personally...I like well groomed...I dont mind clippered all over....I dont mind tamed...I dont mind totally bald. It's alot easier to go to town orallywhen you don't have to worry about choking on pubes. That being said...it hasnt stopped me in the past.Hahahahaha!!For shaving...New razor....I like to use conditioner to shave with...then use an alcohol based aftershave...and DONT finish with cold water.Also...use moisturiser all the time...It keeps the skin soft...and helps prevent ingrowns.JMO....BJxxx

Trim the hedge up top, clean the treetrunk and the pebbles.Should be good to go.Haven't ever had shaving rash, and only got one batch of ingrown hairs - a quick loofah keeps the dead skin off so should help you avoid the dramas.Actually on that note, manscaping in general is a good idea...Get one of those nice shavers with adjustable combs and go nuts.Wax for back and shoulders if needed, but dont put that stuff on your nuts... did that once, no way Ill go again.

I do my own brazilian wax now. It hurts. Almost as much as childbirth. I spend a good couple of days psyching myself up and it takes me way longer than a waltz into the salon, a spreading of the legs and gritted teeth ever did ... God I miss making masochist jokes about my wax lady, but being in control of your own pain is pretty good too. Way cheaper as well. I recommend, after learning this the extreme hard way: * Regular exfoliation of the area * Tea tree oil soap * Bepanthen cream for the after care - this is the best stuff ever! * Persistence * And definitely a fresh, sharp razor - what were you thinking using one that had already been used on your face???

I personally wax, but my husband would not let me within 10feet of his netgher region with the wax pot! But there are a heap of hair removal creams on the market that work fine. You have to shop around a bit to find one that works on your particular hair but you get bugger all in grown hairs, it is painless and the regrowth is finer and not really that prickly. But Smooth is a huge turn on for me! Not a necessity but a preference.....

When I'm not waxing all over I use clippers to keep the pelvic pubes nice and trim (use the number 1 comb). I shave the balls and butt. Might be a little itchy the first couple times but within the week you'll be fine. You need to commit though as it's an ongoin daily part of daily body maintenance. I don't even think about it - just do it.
