Bonefide Couldn’t agree more . All those in medical field ( vast and too many to mention ) , pharmacists , supermarket employees, volunteers helping elderly and those isolated etc . They are all doing an amazing job in trying to keep this wonderful country going and a safe place to be . We received a message from a guy a few days ago . My response was thank you but no thanks in these uncertain times. His response most polite , suggesting only a chat . My feelings are- there are many in the frontline busy with doing more than their bit . Others , are at home . Many will be suffering isolation , fear and loneliness. Maybe it’s time for us all to get a know a few sexy RHP members via chat ( that’s definitely safe !) and show some compassion. Let’s all be grateful for what we do have !

That’s nice & all but we’re not actually doing anything different, except washing our hands more, so personally I find the sudden gratitude a bit insulting. We’ve always been “on the front line” and nobody thought to thank us before, so now there definitely the air of “oh NOW you appreciate us? Well screw you!”. Most of us are not heroes, we’re just people continuing to do what we did before but in a more stressful environment. We’re no more heroes than those who do their bit by staying home really. Since we’re here though, let’s give a shoutout to the fuel industry, it’s been largely overlooked but ain’t no-one gettin’ nowhere without fuel! I hope everybody’s holding up ok, whether you’re doing your bit by staying home or heading out to work today xx Ms Phoenix.

To the teachers, trainers and uni staff who are scrambling to get in place resources to support the continuation of learning as remote set up. Such a complex task to complete in short time frames.

... and good luck to all the medical teams , pharmacists , volunteer helpers , and carers , who are trying thier best to keep this dreaded virus at bay. We ' the general public need to play our part by following the advice the government's provide, and stay off the streets to protect the elderly...

.. those working in the shops who are the front line serving ppl day in day out. The risk of contacting something is high , and what they may carry home to thier familys.. So be thoughtful when you go to pay for your goods and stand your distance.. Big thank you to these people..

Ms phoenix, I tend to disagree as the people that are on the frontline are doing a lot more than their normal jobs at a great risk of contracting it...Having to go to work with this risk is something we all should commend whether it be the doctors or nurses to even the supermarket staff that keep the country going with supplies. In my opinion they are doing the same thing as a soldier going to war which is something everyone should respect and do their bit to help. So stay the fuck at HOME!!!! Libertine

As a health professional, I agree with Phoenix 100%. I'm giving my shout out to the Mining Community. Helping our dwindling economy. They are having to still travel away every week/fortnight for work, live in camps that are getting like detention centres with all the restrictions. #Staythefuckathome

Thanks to each and everyone who is helping keeping the world turning right now so we have something to return to at some point in the future. That includes the people staying home, unless they have to go out, and not acting like it's everyday. Peachy

Il personally take the thanks with all the meaning it has. I don't feel insulted or unappreciated for not receiving it on a daily basis. I'm on the front line as an emergency department worker, never before while doing my job have I had to stay away from friends and family thinking I may be the cause of them becoming sick, never before have I had colleagues sleeping in their cars because they are scared of infecting their children, husband's, wives, or parents. Bathing in peroxide sutions for fear of being the one who makes a loved one sick. This is a whole new ball game and I usually take the daily stress and abuse I receive in my job with a sniff and it rolls of my back like water off a duck. Everyone deserves a shout out for their efforts, all workers, all the public who stay home and do their part, but I will certainly acknowledge my co workers and the extra work this brings to them. Xxx

Hi all, and is nice to see how time alone is playing up! Bonefide. I have to say is a very nice and kind gesture putting out there your gratitude, and I'm sure people directly involved would appreciate in way or the other. My Phoenix, I'm a member of emergency response unit as a volunteer, what would make matter's simular to your position. And all so i do understand your frustration. We are not remembered and appreciated enough, but over looked in moments of crisis. What can be extremely frustrating. Now as someone how really cares,i hope you are doing okay. Please let me know if you need ro vent and i can help. At the end of the day, when i dis sing up to be a direct response, i did not for the money or for the glory. I'm not a heroe, just a normal guy doing my bit to help it out. Like we all can do staying at home!!!!! Thank you again. Mask

I for one want to say thank you to everyone, everyone is trying to do their bit, times like these we have to have compassion and care for eachother, even if it means catch ups are in digital devices. Hope everyone is staying safe ❤

As a truck driver I cannot do my job while staying the fuck home :) I've been asked to work over some of Easter, not that a long weekend matters much now, when you're not allowed to do anything or go anywhere much otherwise. So I may as well work, if of course you still have a job, which I am thankful for, many are not in this position. I've always been thankful for the frontline workers as described.

I agree! It is a whole new ball game and is a change of working/living arrangements. What many do not realise is what front line workers are doing behind the scenes to protect their loved ones in their homes. Yes, I believe you when you state some are sleeping in their cars and some are even setting up sleeping spaces in their garages. I have coworkers who are doing this, I'm seriously thinking of doing it too. And Thank you. Ms Foxy xx

To the pollies of all parties and persuasions state and federal who listened to the experts and took firm action rather than bickering and ducking. If they treated climate change the same we would be forever grateful.

I’m a bit weirded by some efforts I’ve seen people go to to thank truck drivers... One of the blokes that I drive with, had a lady approach him in a parking bay with a food pack to say thanks....Call me weird, but that’s risky in my view at any time not just now.... But to put it into perspective, we are still governed by the same regulations that require all the same breaks, same weights, etc... we are not protecting the pacific rim...lol Everybody in society has their place....the cleaner that cleans the shitters in the factories we might cart from....the farmer who grows grain...the school teacher that schools out kids while we’re at work....the daycare teachers... You get my drift....we are all in this together, because we all rely on each other’s role in society in some way...together we make shit happen, and together we achieve the lucky society we exist in.... I just hope our other links find a treatment, and vaccine soon, it’s a hideous Cunt we’re dealing with.... Mr dragon

I’d agree With usebi,a big Thankyou to the pollies who for once have pulled their heads in and not just argued to be a pita with each other , if only they could act this way all the time but none the less great time for them to work together , and not be grandstanding on individual platforms , what they have introduced, changed and put into place is nothing short of amazing in the amount of time they have ,prolly first and last time a big shout out to all polatitions and state governments , And Mrs b is in the nurseling field and she is doing much much much more than ever before and is like the walking dead and an empty shell at the moment ,so Thankyou on her behalf

I'm with Ms Phoenix though, and could not have said it any better.I certainly didn't feel special paying 175 dollars for my nursing rego today, just to be allowed to continue to do my job. We go to work for you, you please stay at home if you can people, and stay safe everyone ❤️

Whilst the compulsory registration is a scam the increase this year is downright insulting. What amazes me is nurses can’t even claim there parking fees at tax time, talk about taking advantage.
