"Fun" on Profiles

April 12 2014

I see and read it a lot on Profiles.....as in nearly every single one. Does it mean FUN as in sexual fun? Or Does it mean anything anything really, other then being sexual FUN?? So what does "FUN" mean to you when you read it on profiles? If it is written on your profile..what exactly does it mean?? I've always wondered about this three letter word.... Foxy

Fucking Unbelievable Nonsense? "I like to have fun, do you?" Oh c'mon, does anyone rather be miserable? Fun means having a good time in any way, shape or form to me. Whether that is celebrating, going to the movies or having sex. I don't like seeing that line in profiles though. Kinda ruins the fun for me.

Is usually the reaction I have when I read this word on profiles. I mean I have to agree here and say that not too many people would take the alternative to fun.... The way I read it when someone says they like to have fun to me means that they don't take things too seriously.

When a male profile states fun, I interpret it as a euphemism for SEX. When a man verbally says fun, I interpret the same.

Looking for fun or just want fun, etc. I usually think, if you are looking for it, you mustn't have it. Therefor you 're not fun :P - Posted from rhpmobile

Depending on your situation fun seems to have different meanings. As a couple we mention fun with the outlook to engage people both in and out of the bedroom. We are sharing our most intimate bond when we play with others so there has to be a connection and it has to include having fun outside the bedroom to be engaging for us. - Posted from rhpmobile

well I did have it in my profile but when I used it I meant it in general because I'm looking for people to hang out with as friends not just in the bedroom because of work I spend at least 8 hrs a day by my self and would appreciate some good company after all who wants to do things by them selves all the time I need some one to share the Experience and reflect bake on it so fun to me means a lot more just saying my 2 cents worth

Well fun is just that.....FUN It doesn't have to be of a sexual nature, but it can be.......Fun - enjoyment, laughter, gives you pleasure, makes you smile, and makes you feel good......who doesn't love fun........💋

With all those different meanings, why not write on your profile what "fun" means to you rather than using such an uninspired term? I think I'll change my understanding of FUN to Frivolous Uninspired Nonsense. Though it's not as off-putting as GSOH. That one is really not humorous.

Yet i feel that i have used it in the proper context for which it was meant to be used."I get a lot of Fun out of life" meaning i get a lot of enjoyment, amusement, or light-hearted pleasure out of life.Every person that has contacted me here asking for Fun, see it as a polite way of asking for Sex.I find it tedious when i see it on a profile or used in a message and it's not used in the proper context,i assume that they mean sex. While i agree sex is the most Fun you can have with your clothes off, for me if that is the only way you can have Fun the rest of your life must be pretty boring and i will not be very stimulated for very long at all.

We write fun. We cannot do the clinical unfeeling encounter handled and executed like a cold business translation. We like to laugh and have fun plain and simple Ms S - Posted from rhpmobile

Theoughout their profile.....often accompanied with nothing but cockshotz. Kills the fun for me I'm afraid. Firstly it shows a lack of vocabulary, secondly there's only so much "fun" you can gave and thirdly accompanied by nothing but pink bit pictures screams all I want is a fuck, any fuck will do, just let me on let me in and get me off so I can move on to the next bit of fun. (Flesh crawl) I skip over those profiles.....not my kinda fun I'm afraid. I prefer a thinking man who enjoys running amok (another take on "fun") and having a blast whatever we end up doing. ~ Just sayin'
