  My advice would be to start with a thoughtful message after reading their full profile. Some older women are particular with who they play as past experiences has taught them what they like and what they don't. Generally, it has little to nothing to do with looks unless it's obvious someone doesn't respect themselves with some basic care and maintenance. But we all have our little things that are an instant turn-off. Personally and others may be the same I need a mental connection. What I've found is younger guys will message a few times and then ask to meet. But no mental connection has taken place so there is no driver for me to want to meet them. Older women value their time and they don't like wasting it. When I explain to them that creating that connection takes a few weeks maybe a month depending on how much communication takes place. At a guess, I suspect that when I say that it's just all too hard and they disappear. However some step up and put in the work and they are well worth meeting if a connection has been established. Just because someone is young and fit doesn't mean they're going to strike gold. Well not with me. I hope this helps.

  I have had some great experiences with younger guys, have had long term fwb and been treated like a queen. What is off putting with some younger men is the fact that they think they are doing you a favour. Messages such as " How would you like to have a treat, I have a nice hard young cock here" or "Young cocksman here to service you" are cringeworthy............no difference in young cock or old cock, to be honest, it is the guy attached to said dick that is the attraction. Cougars are not desperate, they know their worth. You sound pretty switched on, good luck to you.

  The problem is older women are fetishised and most younger men want to meet us for sex and fill a fantasy. They want us to be a teacher blah blah. It gets boring hearing the same lines and responses. Most conversations are framed in the "older women" language when really, everyone just likes being treated like a person in their own right and form a connection. I like younger men , I love their energy but seriously can't really trust them for anything other than a casual fling and at the moment not even that .There's plenty of older women that will have sex with younger men though. Shouldn't be too hard to find I would have thought if you are leading with genuine communication ?

  I know cougars exist . When I divorced aged 41, I had no idea why I seemed to attract only young men . They always told me the same thing . Older women know what they want , they don’t play mind games and it was just more fun . I love younger men . I married one . As long as they are respectful and don’t think they are doing me any favours being with me I’m happy if a young guy joins us . I love their energy and enthusiasm . No matter what age someone is we seek someone willing to make a connection . We aren’t into someone asking to connect with us NOW as they are free ,working near us NOW or they have an itch to scratch NOW. Some young guys want it NOW . That’s absolutely fine but not what this ‘cougar ‘ ( I’m not keen on the terminology) wants . My advice in searching for anyone , be patient , respectful and honest.   Never chased a Cougar ? ' not that l didnt want to , it just never worked out that way.. Mostly ' l always seemed to attract younger females, which l probally spent too much time on instead of looking for someone with more maturity ? Since learned ' its never too late...

  As an older woman, I don't want a man as old as my kids. Although at parties if a guy is genuinely interested I'm not going to ask their age unless they look really young. I sometimes feel that younger guys go after cougers because they think we won't bother with a condom. No chance of getting pregnant etc. Or we're desperate. I'm not desperate and prefer quality and someone who'll last rather than a quick change of bath water for the guy.
