Hair

May 15 2014

I'm a young guy, my dad is basically a gorilla and therefore I got his genes. Depends on the women? Is it more manly? Manscaping etc? Hit me ladies what's the go for a young fella? I'm undecided, I've done trimming, I've done shaving, it's just hard to fight Mother Nature. Thanks, Jake - Posted from rhpmobile

Maybe try waxing? Nobody can change their genetics but there are always options. I like a bit of hair on a mans chest but I don't like hairy backs. The rest should be a bit easier to keep under control with some trimming.

Waxing, good but in some areas darn painful....... Shaving, like a non stop job........ Veet, (cream hair removal) like shaving......... Laser, lasts longer than waxing, less painful, hair grows back thinner and after around 5-6 treatments hair is gone (you just need too up treatment every year)......... I'm with L4Q I love a man with chest hair, not to much on the back, a definite no go for the shoulders, always nice to follow the happy trail as long as I don't need a weed whacker to find you lol.

What people don't understand is that to get waxing done and for it to be worthwhile I would have to get it done like every 2 weeks....in which case it becomes too expensive or I don't care THAT much kind of thing.... Should probably just stick to trimming I guess.... :/ downstairs is always clean and trimmed but yea, just chest, stomach and the top of my back I guess... - Posted from rhpmobile

Just go with it, find a woman who loves it- and you! I like my men with body hair, hate the prickles when a guy shaves, a trim is fine if it's really crazy... Do keep your pubes trimmed though...

Chest hair is just divine and snail trail is yummy. If it's on your back, I'd try waxing and as for the nether regions I'd just keep that all nicely trimmed and clean, defiantly doesn't have to be waxed down there, not for me anyway.....💋

I can wax, but you must like to scream like a girl. Well that's what hubby did when I tore strip off him. Or so I took skin as well, but let's not get into that. Lazer is the best. Hey with those eyes, nobody will notice ya fuzzy bits

yeah crez , I would just do the best with what you have, probably try and keep the back hair under control, as I don't know many ladies that are into that. everything else is probably fair play.Just think, you will be laughing when chest hair comes back into fashion though ? and there are defiantly women that like body hair, and not attracted to bike racers. for sure, in agreeance with the other ladies here, chest hair, oh yes, snail trail, mmmm, love a set of hairy legs too. I find hair on a man masculine and sexy but the back hair is not a good look or oversized eyebrow hairs and hairy ears (you probably don't have to worry about the latter for another 30yrs).

If you're really keen go for a laser but stick to the appointment schedules otherwise it won't work properly. It's relatively pain free too. Our current clinic won't laser your balls just as a precaution concerning sperm counts etc but everywhere else is good to be zapped! - Posted from rhpmobile

Judging by previous comments I'm one of a small percentage that doesn't mind hairy men. Love a hairy chest, absolutely adore it! My last two 'lovers' had hairy backs and arms as well and I found out I quite like that too lol.

crezz2704 you need to find a woman who loves doing Make overs....Hairy one day, gone the next! MAKE OVER - You're a very handsome young man OP - as far as I can see in your pics you don't have hairy shoulders, so that's a good sign. Come on over, I've got some tweezers, razors, wax, electric trimmer...and other things. I'm tactile and don't like the feel of extreme all over body hair...I like smooth and a little bit of hair. FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to extreme all over body hair. Hairy back and bums...Sorry that's just gross, makes me gag!! Ikky things pop into my head with a very hairy bum...as in poor personal hygiene and tangled nuggets. NO ONE wants that! Nothing worse than running hand down a mans back and feel all this course hair through my fingers. Gives me the heebie Jeebies and all over goose bumps. Don't know why just does. One very hairy, over sized eyebrow.....Good God - NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ms. Foxy who is happy to do make overs. :)

I love a smooth back, chest, bum. I don't mind waxed, shaved or trimmed. But it is not a deal breaker. If a guy ticks a lot of other boxes I am happy to overlook a little extra hair. As long as (along the lines of Foxy) personal hygiene is good.

Thanks everyone haha I will do the best I can I guess :) As for the make over part, suppose I could give that a shot haha Bum isn't too hairy don't be scared and it's just like a triangle upside down from my neck on my back not that big, would be fine with a trim id say! :) Suppose when I start working out a bit more I'll work on it more, all the 'gains' can't be seen through the hair haha -.- does look better without it though! - Posted from rhpmobile

I think that natural is best, within reason. My husband is the same. I would not suggest that you laser or wax, its too much work and money, and at the end of the day, its just not who you are. I would suggest that you buy a good quality trimmer and keep everything at a number 1 or 2 at the most. One proviso to that from me is, if your back is hairy you may want someone to shave or wax that area, 'cause that shit is nasty.

Talking about high heels... I just had a conversation with a GF last night and I mentioned "If only we could put rubber stoppers on high heels to stop those heels marks on chests and...... to stop scratching the furniture!!" LOLZ HAHAHA and to stop those scratches on the face when we throw our legs over the shoulders - no more wacks in the face! Padding come to mind....hehehe Wouldn't that be great!! But then again....hair would cover those marks. Just saying.... Foxy

Most important though, Circz (and a few others) are spot on. The hairer the better. I love seeing hair poking out of a guys top. I don't even care if the back or bum is hairy too. It's all good in my book. Tom Selleck in Magnum PI was and is my ultimate hairy man. Love the feeling of a hairy chest on my boobs, but if you're smooth thats cool too :-) - Posted from rhpmobile

While I am just a bloke with the hairy chest and snail trail, one of my mates has always "struggled" with the hairy back, shoulders and very hairy chest stomach. Like you he has always been a good-looking block and never had a problem with attracting women. He, also like you, has mainly the upper back that is hairy. His wife waxes the back, but only because that's what he wants not because that what's she needs. He chooses to shave/wax every now and then... but I think that is just for a change. He says he would prefer not to be hairy, but he is what he is. You will probably get hairier as you get older...... I say keep yourself well trimmed inside ya pants, but not bald... coz that would look silly, be uncomfortable (both for you and your partner) and be too time consuming to maintain (just my thought). Even as a not so hairy bloke, I keep myself trimmed ..... It is my preference for me. lol.... I think about my mate's son.... only a young kid, but his dad is like you and his mum comes from a family of hairy blokes. I think with your attitude and looks dude, you shouldn't have any problems. You are who you are and it is more important that people look at you the person, as others have suggested.

I've been with a guy who had hair everywhere!... The thing is it didn't worry me, I liked him for him and hair was part of him so I didn't mind. But he did.... He had a very hairy back, shoulders and back and he was in his early 20's and could grow a full thick beard in a week!... He had tried all hair removal options and the ingrown hair and rashes from waxing and shaving just was not worth the pain and in the end it is expensive!... He is Persian and it is just pat of his genetics and his parents understood he was self conscious about it and helped him pay for ipl hair removal and now he's happy and has lots of hair in the normal manly places and mostly hair free back, butt and shoulders and never has to wax or shave again. But still manscapes... You gotta keep it under control ;)..... So even tho ipl is expensive in the short term it is worth it in the end if your hair is an issue for you. But do it for yourself and not for anyone else... ...Or just find a good woman who loves you for you and not just for a smooth back and let it grow ;).... Sorry for all the ...... But I know on an ipad, their is no such thing as a paragraph on this form...

Laser is the better I think depending on how much there is after a couple of treatments it's worth it. Also if you wax you have to go back regularly to get it done where as laser either never grows back or hair becomes very fine. I've had it done and couldn't be happier - Posted from rhpmobile

Well, where do I start? Read all the posts and just got the better of me. I hide, I wax it, I laser it, I trim it, shave itI do it all. No perfect solution. What do you do a few weeks after a wax? Hate to be the guy when I turn up for a date looking like his father or brother. Hey if you are a guy and hairy, you can get by. If you are a girl and hairy, how bad can that hair be. Bit of a razor as a last minute touch up-done. You can all get by! Us poor old cd/TV's, you got me started.......

I like men to be MEN, not boys, therefore I like hairy bits! Love hairy chests, stubble, goatees and hate shaved pubes on a guy - it just gives it that 'last turkey in the shop' look! The only bits of a man that he should ever consider removing the hair from are his shoulders. That's possibly just a bit too 'fluffy' even for my pernickety tastes...

I like my men smooth, it's one of the only physical things I state on my profile. I figure, if we feel pressure to take it off, the boys better put in some effort too! Stubble rash is also no cool!
