Hair removal on men, other than intimate areas

Im not a fan of the wholly waxed male body. I find some hair on a man very hot. I love running my hands over a hairy chest. But each to their own. It seems nowadays that having body hair is a mortal sin. Ive seen profiles stating that they wont play with people who have any body hair. Porn doesnt help....young people watching porn must think they need a perfect body, no body hair and a snow white bum hole......... I think body odour is more to do with not showering regularly. Ive met hairy men who smelled divine!

My beautician tells me many men visit her for back, crack & sac wax. 🤪

I trim and maintain my hair down there but like to use cream to remove hair under and behind. Different story above the belt, like to keep hair on my chest but manicure it so it’s not a bushy mess 🙋🏼♂️

Me too kokflamingo! My Mr has a hairy chest and I find it sexy. I am a massage therapist, so see all sorts of backs and back hair doesn't bother me in the slightest. This was just one particular man I had been with, I was used to it after the relationship had run its course, but I haven't been with any men other than him that were quite so obsessed with being hair free? I was wondering how common it is

We were informed that most body odour is caused by underarm hair so when trimming we do remove male underarm hair for that reason but in saying that I do enjoy my fingers in his body hair and his manly smell if and when not removed Isnt it nice that we are all different as it would get pretty boring Bye for now

Sawadee... Yes, I am aware many many straight men do man scape, I was worried when I wrote that. I typed, deleted, typed another way... but I am talking mainly about areas other than intimate ones... As in eye brows, underarm, legs even? And not trimming but fully removing it. My uncle actually is the only other man I have known to shave his armpits, although he was a runner and cyclist so I think it was for aerodynamics

I'm reasonably sure the underarm hair to smell thing is a bit of an urban myth. It's the sweat that smells, although trimming may help reduce a bit, a good wash never goes astray 😉 As said, variation is good! To the LGBT thing, maybe those on the spectrum are just more aware.... just like a lot that are in the lifestyle! I trim some bits, laser others, but it's about my own self confidence rather than anything else. Oh, and makes getting sunburn cream off after the nude beach easier 😎

My guy Trims the hair under his arms and his chest but not shaven. He says he notices the difference in smell if his underarm hair is shorter. I like his body hair so I don't care either way. He does it for himself.

The smelly armpits is more to do with not washing and/or not using deodorant . We have encountered several women over the years regardless of their hairless armpits they still had horrible BO

yeah, big urban myth! secretion of body odor has everything to do with diet!cut/eliminate onions, curry, and spiceseat lots of fruitsdon't use aluminium based products I do shave all my bits and leave a bit of hair on the chest - and no, I not gay! this one is a debatable as an urban myth, but in my case, totally true: eating pineapple leads to sweet tasting cum !!!recently single. partnering up...anyone female here keen?

Pornbrokers... so you shave your underarm area? Or do you pluck eyebrows? Can I ask if you have ever had a strange reaction from a partner when they first saw it? I know men who man scape "down there" but my post was asking about more traditionally feminine areas. The reason I said about the underarm hair holding the smell, back when I used to grow underarm hair, I would notice if I hadn't shaved my odour was much more. My current partner washes his underarm routinely with all different soaps, tried shampoo, has a great diet however you can still smell his natural odour always, even straight after a good scrub in the shower

It would be like painting the Harbour Bridge, once you finish, you'd have to start again. Thankfully, Mrs urn. likes hair. I don't use deodorant, only aftershave and Mrs urn. says I smell like jam doughnuts. We know women who shave under their arms and elsewhere and they still have very strong body odour, really strong. I knew a lovely guy years ago, very little body hair, very strong body odour, greatly impacted how women viewed him. I shaved my under arms and legs as a teenager, no one did back then. Cyclists shave to help with injuries when they crash, as chances are, sooner or later, they will. Mr. urn. .

I tried waxing my back once - complete failure. Long story short my skin is very sensitive and will never handle major waxing there. My skin can't even handle being in front of spa jets, will just come out in a rash. These days for dates I trim my back with clippers, sometimes get an inner butt wax (otherwise trim), and use clippers to trim my man bits (I have used Veet there before too, but have to be careful about accidental burning, so that's a rarity). I leave everything else, chest, underarms etc. I have very small BO so I'm told by others, and on inactive days can get away with wearing a shirt a second day with no signs of anything (99 times out of a 100 I don't, but just saying, in a jam...). When I used to cycle multiple times a week, I used to use Veet on my legs. As I've never had a road crash yet, I can't say it was about injury recovery for me. I did find that cleaning road grime off your legs, putting sunscreen on and post event leg massage was much easier without hair on the legs. These days I don't ride enough to bother.

Usrightnow... I love that analogy! Men do typically grow allot more hair than women, some men (Mr jasindy is one)grow more than others. Thing is, women love different types of men. Being a massage therapist, I see different bodies all the time and know there is beauty in everyone, hair or no hair Notmyrealname ... I just learnt to ride a bike a few years ago! I crashed so much, riding on the road scares the willies out of me, I guess if you had a layer of hair it would be even more painful having a stack. Thank you big red for answering my question and asking of areas other than having a trim or shave down there. Have you ever had partners question the hair removal? Interesting on the alkaline food thing, we have a alkaline water machine, but which foods are more alkaline? I'd love to chat more about that 😊

hi 86j, yes lots of partners have asked why and i’ve explained, some like some don’t but it has never been a deal breaker it’s my preference and i like it. i train bjj now and need to keep my nails short and neat so i get them manicured too now and it looks much nicer than stubby bitten/dirty nails. yeah i only drink alkaline water too. alkaline foods are all ancient original foods that have not been genetically engineered and crossed breaded by man basically. most common alkaline foods are; kale, quinoa, wild black rice, spinach, chick peas, all lettuce except iceberg, all mushrooms except shiitake, cucumber, okra, olives, onions, squash, tomatoes cherry or plum only. happy to chat about it further. as humans our whole bodies are alkaline except our stomachs which is acidic for digestive needs. google dr sebi alkaline and lots of info. since i transitioned to this first i don’t get sick catch any cold flus. again happy to discuss further, have an awesome weekend!

Big red... I lov all those foods! I don't eat red meat (pescatarian) and most of those foods are in my diet anyhow by default. If you want to contact me on lol so we can discuss more please do 🍌🍓🥥🥑

Quoting '86Jasindy' Notmyrealname ... I just learnt to ride a bike a few years ago! I crashed so much, riding on the road scares the willies out of me, I guess if you had a layer of hair it would be even more painful having a stack. That is awesome! Good on you for getting into it. My guess is its harder to pickup in your later years, but not impossible. The more you do it, the more it becomes an extension of yourself and will crash less. I've been riding since I was a kid, and during my childhood and teens it was my only way of getting around (lived in different countries growing up), so riding on the road doesn't bother me. That said, there's a few roads in Sydney I choose not to ride on at certain times of the day - whilst I could, it's just very risky. If you get seriously into it, it's great for getting a firm bottom and leg tone. I've now gone to the extent of joining multi-day rides, over the last years I've cycled from London to Paris, through a few places in Europe, down through Tassie. If you want to see amazing riding talent search Danny Macaskill on youtube. On the BO thing, I'm also vegetarian (not vegan), have always thought diet plays a huge part. But also, I'm not a huge sweater either in moderate heat. Just to be clear though, I think if anyone perspires heavily, that shirt the next day is going to be rank... On another tangent, I saw a tv show years ago where they did studies by getting random guys to wear a shirt for a few days without deodorant and then they sealed them up, and got a few women to smell them later, the ones that smelled the least bad by each of the ladies opinion had the most genetically diverse genes. The theory being that we're built to smell attractive to people we have the best chance of breeding better offspring with, but in this day and age of deodorant and perfumes we mask that underlying 6th sense.

I've always been fit, mainly running and netball in my later years, just late to take up cycling. I would much rather be on a track than the road, luckily we have a few around Adelaide, I'm so frightened of inattentive drivers. That is amazing cycling those places! The male in our couple is a cyclist, his family do those charity Melb to Adelaide 7 day rides, his sister almost went to the Olympics for valadrome (not sure if that is spelt right? ) one year but suffered an accident whilst training being knocked off. I think I have seen the same documentary actually. Something about your type where you are attracted to a certain bo smell over others depending on which group you are in? Mr Jasindy smells incredibly sweet to me, he said his ex wife would always comment on how horrid he smelt. He does have a strong smell, despite being very clean, wearing clean clothes and eating well (I do the washing and feed him so I'd hope it was good🤣) I don't see how anyone can see it as anything other than beautiful lol

My underarms are lasered. There was a noticeable difference in the amount of deodorant required since. The bacteria breed amongst the hair follicles. My bum is done too. Smells like roses down there

I love it 🥰 so smooth. Have only found one man like it though. If it’s nice and neatly trimmed it’s all good, no prickles or hair in the mouth.

At the risk of us never finding a date in here again I’ll honestly reply to this. I’m hairy, the more my hair is thinning on too, the more it seems to grow everywhere else! Also it’s going grey so gone is the chance for laser removal! I liked my chest hair and never had any partner not like it. I don’t like it now it’s gone grey though as it is a mark that I’m not 20 any more. I have done the sack and crack wax and yes I do like the way it feels but I have a few issues with it. Firstly I have hairy legs and I like them, I don’t like the mamil look of shaved legs so where does one halt the pubic trimming, to my eye it just looks a bit silly no matter where I do it. Then there’s the fact I sweat a lot....ewww they say but before you run I also don’t have even the hint of BO, never have my whole life and no idea why. I can throw a sweaty tshirt on the floor and it will dry and be odourless. I nearly die if I have to borrow a laundered shirt off a mate because as soon as it warms to body temp I gag on their manly odour. What does this have to do with my sack? Well even though I love the smooth feeling down there my smooth balls overheat and I find I have to walk around without pants on all day and I’m likely to get arrested! Worse than this is I have very soft and sensitive skin which reacts severely to any hair removal process, it took over 10 years of shaving my face for it to toughen up and not rash up. So I’ve decided it’s not worth it and am accepting my leper status as a hairy man although I am happy to trim I won’t be baby bum smooth any more. I feel like a persecuted minority now and think they should add a H to the LGBTxyz movement so I can march down oxford street in all my hairy (But odourless) beauty. I guess we should add an S for all the beautiful stinky people out there too 😂

I get my full leg, feet, toes fingers, forearms and underarms waxed all the time. Also, chest, abdomen, butt cheeks, anus, and full Brazilian. I love it. Been doing it since uni in the 90's (long story) If youve never been really hairy, you wouldnt appreciate how much better swimming, massage and even showering is, without all that hair! Most therapists can t help but want to trim my eyebrows while I'm there, so they often get done too.
