Help!!!

June 07 2016

Hi all, Im not sure any guys can answer this, or even want to read it..(you know, secret womens business 🙄) Im going in for surgery soon to have a hysterectomy with the removal of my cervix also. My biggest worry is, I've read somewhere that if they remove to much it can really affect the g-spot sensitivity! Im starting to panic a bit!! Has anyone been through this? and how did it affect you? Im dreading the thought that it will affect whether or not I can squirt again too 😑😔😷 Looking forward to any words of wisdom... - Posted from rhpmobile

Following my hysterectomy I didn't orgasm for over 6 months! It distressed me so much that I did see my doctor about it and with time it returned. What I have noticed since my hysterectomy is: huge increase in my libido (hysterectomy solved the pain associated with sex) I squirt and never did before my hysterectomy! My clitoral orgasms are much more intense though my penetrative orgasms are not as intense as they used to be (in feeling for me) but I apparently contract and squeeze a cock very hard when I'm orgasming :) I find some positions with really big cocks can hurt but I love a good pounding, so on we go ;) I find I have less 'vaginal discomfort' following any extended play sessions too. Can I say it was the best thing I did for myself and my sexual life just got so much better. I'm free from pain, periods and painful ovulation. Mary xx

Can't offer you any advice (for so many reasons!) but I can appreciate that going in for surgery can be a very anxious experience. I wish you the very best care from Australia's health practitioners! For what it is worth from a stranger I also wish you good vibes for a great post-surgery recovery and a wonderful sex life to come! Eric

Just saw this as on my way to fetch coffee. I can't really contribute anything to the thread but just sending my warm thoughts and wishes to you. May you come out of the surgery in the best way ever and back to the swing of things. Big hugs. Xxx

I have no words of wisdom for you but I hope all goes well for you. I have some understanding of you concerns about the effect on your sex life. I'm booked in to get my prostate out next Wednesday and I know that means no more ejaculations and possibly no more erections and quite frankly it scares the bejesus out of me. I am very apprehensive about how I will feel about my masculinity after the operation but on the positive side it will probably cure my prostate cancer and I should by still around for a while longer which gives me a much greater chance to enjoy some level of sexuality than the alternative. You are somewhat younger than me so I wish a full recovery of your sexuality and hope the operation remedies what ever your problem is.

Hi Lee.....I am also currently waiting for a date for surgery, I am having a hysterectomy also with the removal of cervix and one or possibly both ovaries. Its really scary, yet its also exciting to think of life without pain etc. I have read all the horror stories also and its hard to disregard it as things dont always go perfectly. I have a dear friend who is midwife and she assures me that with good post op care and physio to help with recovery and strengthening of pelvic muscles that I will be back to normal and feeling better than I ever have for years. I wish you all the best and will be thinking of you. Keep us posted... speedy recovery xx - Jem - Posted from rhpmobile

I did actually read your post awhile ago and I was going to reply but my memory, like other parts of me doesn't always work lol I wanted to let you know that I have a fwb who has had his prostate removed. I didn't meet him till after his op and he was still struggling a bit at that stage. Can I just say he is one of the best lovers I've ever had. Does he have the odd occasion where things dont work properly? Absolutely! And of course he misses the fact he can no longer ejaculate as would any man. But I think he is slowly realising there is more to him than that. He says it certainly makes a huge difference being with someone he feels comfortable with. I wish you all the best in this new chapter of your life, Im sure its not going to be all roses but if it means a longer life its certainly worth it. My thoughts will certainly be with you next week, Lee 😘 - Posted from rhpmobile
