  Hi Cas, By a long way Phuket is much better. If you are going to want company that is easy to arrange. Be aware that hotel will charge you extra if you have a friend who is sleeping over. The Aussie Bar is the spot to go you find out any thing you need to know there. LC

  Phuket by far. If you get the right hotel they will not charge you. There is soo much to see and do and not so many bogans in Phuket.

  Looking for area's and hotels where it is more likely to have the 40-60 yo couples and single women staying without children .Not looking to buy the local ladies for company , LOL .

  As an outlier suggestion - Tasmania is an amazing place to go for a holiday. Good food, good wine. But I have an inkling you want to stick to the oriental theme.

Tasmania is a very quiet holiday. Not much happens and not that much fun to go on your own I don't reckon. Thailand is good. Never been to Phuket although I have heard it is pretty sleazy with all the old fuckers that go. LOL. I have been to Koh Samui, that was very nice.

  lombok . laid back beautiful women .short leaky boat ride to gillie islands. believe me it's paradise. mate of mine used to rent a two bedroom unit in Senggigi for $450 a year

  Both are adult only resorts ie no guests under 18 years of age. Diverse nationalities ,mostly europeans that love the aussie accents. Swim up bars , chalets on the beach or hotel rooms, resturants but plenty of choices in town. Only 3 nightclubs in town and a 3 hour return trip to Patong/Phuket😤

  As I said in haven't been but a few friends have mentioned to me the sleazy element to Phuket. White dudes looking for "young" people. It's part of it. I didn't see anything like that in Koh Samui but we stayed in a resort so lots of families.

  Have decided on Phuket and looking for suggestions for a nice 4 star hotel at Patong Beach area . Not right on top of the action part of town but close enough while being reasonably quiet .
