  I haven't used them either and have been a bit curious, albeit my idea was to put one on a guy to limit the sensations on his end as a means of domination/orgasm control.   I can't comment on the hollow strap on. However the Length and girth extender to go over my own penis is quite good. It gives you that extra length that is required at times and it also extends the length of play. they are very supple and as Madotara explained can melt/degrade very easily so best to get another.
