How are you getting to Mike's place from the city? It seems like an hour round trip. That's an expensive taxi

Hi all, I was thinking we should go tonight. I had a look and it's an hour round trip from the city to mike's and back. We're not from Bris but here on the coast that's a solid $100 in taxi or more. What do you all do to get there and back? We'll be having drinks, so no driving. Thanks

Pretty sure Mikes still have a mini bus service from North Lakes to the Gold Coast. Not sure on cost though 😃 Ms PF

Just wondering if and how you got there. We have been thinking of going but distances from north of the river is a bit far. We have never been, so a little cautious in case it's not our type of place. So what's it like, crowd, ages etc.

It seems the options suggested so far are:- broomstick- catch an uber- catch mike's uber- catch mike's bus Are the two mike's options verifiable? I just can't justify the drop of an extra $100 on transport. I thought it was still in West End but unfortunately no.
