I’m married and poly ... depending on where everyone is at the time, depends on the amount I’m having. I’d be having sex daily and numerous times in the day if I could lol ... I’d say when all things are ‘normal’ I’d be having sex 4-5 times a week. Mary xx

as a married couple 4 over 30 yrs around4 times a week as for share partners once every 3 months son moving out so a lot more of our independence

Twice the length from the middle to one end.... Not helpful at all I know but the reality is the number changes every week, one week I am away for work so it’s a zero, other weeks I am home and we are both horny AF so it’s daily and some, sometimes we are just a bit tired or stressed so it’s probably just 4 or 5 times, then there’s the weeks we go to a swingers party........

Thank you for the reply guys. Definitely more than I thought, unfortunately for us we don’t quite have it that many times as we have a young one and shift work makes it hard. Did any of you start having more sex one on one after the introduction of others? We found that our sex life was getting very dry until we introduced others and then our sex life together did get better. Has this been the case for any others? - Posted from rhpmobile

At least twice a day with hubby. We never used to be like that, it's now that my sex drive has increased I'm wanting more and probably because our kids are older now so we don't have to do as much? But anyway the right balance is really what is possible for the both of you, sometimes timing just doesn't quite align and you just have to take the opportunity when you can. - Posted from rhpmobile

But even during a brief stint as a couple, we weren't living together, and at some distance, therefor only managed about once a fortnight. I know of fwbs living close to each other that manage more than once a week. I imagine when you are able to wake up to said person each night/morning that things can be much more regular and spontaneous :) - Posted from rhpmobile

We don't have nearly as much sex as we used to, we're down to once a day and not the first four days of a period. We have written elsewhere in the Forums we estimate a conservative total of at least 25,000 times in total. We haven't had sex involving other people for a while, due to health reasons. .. As for what is the right balance, it really depends on the people involved, however many that might be, and specific circumstance. It's a lot tougher to get "alone time", with kids around. Tougher again without extended family, for instance, for extra support. Work and workload can also have a significant impact. There's no right or wrong, just what works for you at that moment. It also helps if you're both on the same page. Remember, communication is important and realistic expectations too. .. ct., to answer your query, initially, when we first married, yes, about the same, regularly/daily up to six times a day. However, we no longer have six or more hours to indulge ourselves with that kind of enjoyment. Average these days is an hour and a half, but that does go into what might otherwise be sleep time. Ah, the trials of waiting for the children to all settle. Mr. & Mrs. urn. .

How do people define multiple times in a day? What length of break do you need, and what non-sexual activities would you have to do in that break, that mean it is definitely multiple sexual encounters and not just one long one with some rest breaks? (I go to work only once a day even though I may have breaks). On the same note, a single 2 hour session may get you similar as four 30min quickies ;) - Posted from rhpmobile

ct., at our OPs indulgence. I think a break might be delineated by a sleep, a meal, work, and so on. We do a lot of edging/surfing/delayed orgasm stuff, so, after we have both been satisfied, perhaps with an orgasm/climax, perhaps not, but nonetheless satisfied that that "round" for want of a better term, is over, with usually just one instance of that nature, then, any of the activities above, then later another, totally separate sexual occasion. If that makes sense. I'd imagine that a professional sex worker might have two or more sexual encounters quite close together, however, quite rightly see them as separate occasions of sex. For a long time I have at least in part, worked from home. Sometimes Mrs. urn. would fall asleep and I'd go and work for a while, hour or two, as the nature of my work either required that, seven days a week, three-sixty-five odd a year, or allowed for that flexibility. Days are also quite long, and allow for, for instance, early morning sex, just home from work sex, after dinner sex, off to bed sex and middle of the night sex. Not to mention various middle of the day on weekends sex. We enjoy employing a variety of different positions and activities, all the while, while delaying orgasm, for a better orgasm at the end of that one to two hour period. And just occasionally, the odd quicky, but we prefer a longer version. Sometimes, if there were two separate orgasms, after say ten to fifteen minutes break, fooling around as a recovery period, then a second tilt, I'd classify that as just the one sexual occasion. Ahhh, it’s so nice to be with a partner with the same sexual appetite as you. So, whenever we want it. But on the rare occasion one of us is just too exhausted, it doesn’t worry us, because the next time we have sex is just around the corner. Hi, The amount of sex we have each week is heavily influenced now by work and kids. Before kids we would have sex twice a day most weeks and we would play with others every week, often on both Friday and Saturday nights. Kids came along and the playing with others stopped for about 18 months after each child. A combination of things including tiredness, body conscious issues, tiredness & tiredness!Now we would probably average out to 3 times per week and playing with others once every 3 weeks. While we miss the amount we appreciate the quality!XXAnn
