How often do you message members?

August 29 2013

As RHP is offering a new "Diamond" membership with unlimited messaging I wonder who would need that. I have a 5 message limit a day and seldom would I ever run out. I did for a while have the Platinum membership that has 50 messages a day. Personally I have never gone over 10 messages in one day and mostly to people I have already met.I couldn't possible put the effort in to message 50 people in one day, do or could you? Does the Diamond mean some are to be bombarded with endless generic messages? Has any one yet seen a "Diamond Club" message in there inbox?

Who the heck has time to send out 50 messages a day?? How ordinary!!! It would takes days I reckon to read profiles and email each one individually to suit profile. Yep for sure they'd have to send out generic messages. Makes sense? FOXY - Posted from rhpmobile

That I would never ever be a Diamond Club victim and be bombarded with endless generic messages! Like Foxy said, who would have the time to send out 50 messages to 50 different people everyday?! I certain don't even have time to reply to or send out one each day, let alone 50! So OP, I couldn't and wouldn't do that nor am I interested in becoming a member of Diamond Club!- Posted from rhpmobile

This is a place about selling one's self (eeck) with unlimited I could write a simple script that sends each and every targeted profile description a generic (from a list of generic message, like anal lover get message 1, mmf lovers get message two... and so on) with in minuets of them coming on line. Far usage... Yes.Sort of like tv adds.. Want to know more???? Blindman is a programmer and loves to look under the hood and transforms web pages. IE any thumbnail image on this site on my browser pops up with the full res image of the members image by just hovering over the image with your mouse. Do you want to know if a member shares a friend with a friend with a friend. Easy to find, just hover over the Friendly tag that my extension adds to every page. Frustrated with clicking on replied to forum xyz only to bring you to the first page of a forum. Well not me. I click and always brings me to the last page, or on my last post, or on the post displayed. See people that quote me.. LOL easy. Want to sit back and look at the full profile of ever use online at the time. log in and press the "I see all" button.Ever wonder how many time a member has clicked on you profile. A blind man can help you know that by adding it to there profile view.Want a block button that builds a stronger wall in a single press. Talk to the blind man.Never want to lose any message and response again. The blind man can give you that. Send them to your email addresses...Oh so many improvements and can be done.Imagine that you spend all so much time typing a message and hit send. A blind man can garrenty that never again will you have to retype. Want to ignore a user a blind man can make sure that you will never ever see that user again even in searches (sorry chat system is outside my control)Think I lie.. Diamond membership. I can give super power.THis is not bull shit all functions exist on my browser. Many many more.I am a slut in body and mind. and RHP is fucken awesome.

I do imagine a rise in generic messages being most likely. The best scenario I can imagine for this kind of membership would be for groups... ... um, or people with lots of friends. I've had a quick search though and only found a handful of men and one couple with Diamond membership, in Australia, so far.

5 a day was almost always plenty of messages for me and he. Usually we were answering messages sent to us. Friends we built up over time, amd then would swap the same messages back and forth.

If we sent you a message with a friends request, and you accepted, then would you send our message to your friends back and forth?Mado

No, MrsP is saying that you can have an ongoing conversation with people which originate from the one email. Usually this will happen with people you consider your friends... people you have gotten to know in chat or on the forum, obviously as you don't tend to continue on chatting to complete strangersSo I send you a message, you respond, then I respond, then you respond........ I get bored so i don't respond for a few weeks, then you respond, etc, etc. An ongoing conversation that starts with one email. Hence you are not using up your limited emails for the conversationCapisce?

The additional email limit is simply fluff to fill up the 'extras' list. The real 'benefit' of the Diamond membership is that your message hovers at the top of the receivers inbox until read. I'm thinking that is just going to annoy the fuck out of people ... If you've already decided it was a delete on sight message would having to click on it and wait 3 secs before you could delete it make any difference ??

I suppose that if you are lonely and looking for a partner, anything that may lead to better opportunities would be a small price if it helped. And if some of that money goes to improving the site, then it could make for win win. Time will tellMado

For those organising events, as we have done in the past, 50 messages a day could come in handy. We've had to spread email notifications and event details out over a number of days, and we certainly havent run anything with the massive numbers some do. Imagine sending 100 emails out for a meet and greet, with a '5 emaisl per day' cap?Regardless, offering something exclusive, with a higher price point, works.
