Improving with age...It's definitely a thing

On Monday I turn 47 years of age and this has me reflecting on my life, where I am and how far I have come.Do I feel 47? No, and I honestly feel that I am sexier, more self assured and certainly more sexually confident in my 40's than ever before. My life is in a really good place, I am both financially and emotionally secure and I know exactly what I will and wont' accept from relationships in my life (whether they be with lovers, friends, family and even in my career) I have always been a very sexual and sensual woman, and feel that with age comes experience, and the knowledge and confidence to be so much more adventurous sexually. I know my body well, and with this self awareness comes the ability to share amazing sexual experiences, with whomever I choose to share them with. I also think that with age comes a certain level of standards that I am not as willing to compromise on as when I was younger. Some of my friends say I am too fussy when it comes to men, I say I know what I want, and I am not willing to settle for less than my worth, when it comes to sex or getting involved on a deeper level.The whole younger guy/older woman thing used to intrigue me, but the more younger guys I get to know, the more I understand the appeal for them of being with someone who knows what they want, and is not caught up in drama that seems to engulf some younger women these days. Anyway, as per my subject line, I definitely think that improving with age is a thing. Would love to hear your thoughts on this topic. I for one feel like a top shelf bottle of bourbon that just keeps getting better with age. Cheers to that sexy people xx

    I turned 40 last month. I know I'm at my fittest, healthiest and happiest time in my life right now. There's always room for improvement...but I'm not stressing the little things like I did when I was younger. I'm more confident in my life...personally, sexually and career-wise. And I too have been told (only this week yet again) that my lack of inhibitions and "no hang ups" is a big turn on for younger guys. I'm just reminding myself that the little hotties @ work are off limits! But damn their flirting & compliments are hard to resist! ;-) - Posted from rhpmobile

    Love the top shelf bottle of bourbon analogy 👍 We are indeed. I'm up on the top shelf with you chicks. Actually I think I'm one shelf down from the top. My morals have got worse lol which keeps me off the top shelf 😏

    we have gotten better with age ,mrs was hot when we were younger ,but now not only physically is she way hotter but mentally she is rocking it out of the park , me well i'm in the best shape i've ever been in thanks to swinging and wanting to make the most of what i have got and to our son needing to hit the gym and causing me to have to go as well ,it's getting my junk as good as he can be to detract from the old bald head and we all have never eating as healthy. and all that sort of stuff as we do now compared to when we were younger , i too am a good top shelve bottle of bourbon , but am aware could be tipped over and emptied out anytime ,so making the most of life and enjoying everything for what it is mr b - Posted from rhpmobile

    why older women are so appealing in some ways ,when your young you can do whatever you want and not much effort required to be amazing ,but as you get older it gets harder ,just sniff chocholate and your ass seems to grow ,always sporting perfect young perfect looking skin ,so the work and effort that some ladies put in is a turn on in itself not just in physical but also the extras the nails ,the clothes ,the underwear ,the hair the waxing the attitude etc etc ,i know some ladies that outshine the young ones no trouble at all , and no i'm not fishing for anything just popped into my head why some older ladies are just damn right awesome and that comes with age and maturity,imo mr b - Posted from rhpmobile

    You're right, with age comes that knowing you don't have when your young.. I've been asked why is it I'm so choosey when it comes to women.. Simple , I choose quality over quantity and it works for me.. I still seem to attract much younger women which these days not that unusual. However , I'm just as likely to be attracted to older women if they've taken the time to keep themself looking good.. No matter what age' if you stop caring , so will others... This is a example of how you start to think when maturity sneaks up ...

    Its OK but I'd honestly rather be 37 again. Knowing what I know now of course. 40's have been great years for me in that I know, and more importantly like myself a lot better now and am not afraid to be who I am. I'm just less harder on myself and others in general. I have spent a lot of time working on this and its going to be an ongoing project for the rest of my life. There's still a lot I have to learn. I wish I had learnt a few things earlier and believed in myself more but thats life I guess. There's no retakes so you just have to make the most of what you have. To be honest I am not looking forward to aging and it scares me. But that could have a lot to do with the uncertainty in some aspects of my life right now that I need to get sorted. Physically I have never been better and do not take my health for granted. Its a priority for me now. Sometimes I feel like top shelf vodka and sometimes I feel like a pre-mixed UDL can. More the former than the latter thankfully. Have a great Birthday lovely and enjoy it x

    Fabulous topic 😍 I am going through major change, having separated from my husband after 24 years. Financially, I am both terrified and excited, ready to take some risks and start the business I’ve been dreaming about for many years. Emotionally, I’m a lil all over the shop, but in a “it’s hard to leave someone you still love and respect, even when it’s the right decision” kinda way, rather than feeling lost or unsure. I’m more aware of who I am and what I want than ever before - and, most importantly, I like me :) I have worked hard to get to this place of self knowledge & love, and I’m not giving that up for anyone. As far as shelves go... imagine a game of snakes and ladders 😂😂 Hope you have a fabulous day xx
