  Unsainted Everyone has their own way of navigating meeting people. When we first became members of RHP ( we have let the membership lapse as my husband is away for work- just my way of explanation) , we found the same thing as you . We joined kik and we find it an easy, safe way to chat . There needs to be no phone number exchange, no logging in to an account etc . I find it helpful as I can add my husband to the chat, exchange pictures with ease. If need be that person can be blocked at anytime . What to do after kik closes ?!There is talk that kik may continue. If not Telegram is a similar alternative. Back to your original question and a quick response- we all navigate RHP differently , it comes down to personal choice .

  If you're "inundated" surely you know who's genuine and who's fake? I only chat on kik with people I'm actually going to meet. I dont chat for chats sake.

  Hahaha, I copped the same thing on my single profile. I know people find it good for anonymity but seriously if I’m good enough to put your dick in I’m good enough to get your phone number. People asking to redirect to kick were automatically dismissed, if you have something to hide I don’t wanna know. I’m glad it’s getting shut down. Ms Phoenix.

  Lucky you, most will be genuine some will be trying to get money. Kik hasn’t shut down yet and there are other threads about it in the forums.

  FFF...... You chat with me all the time 😂😂😂 how long did it take us to get our act together lol. To answer the question of OP. I find it quicker and easier to converse on a dedicated communication app. Just me, sending what is essentially emails back n forth is painful

  Hi Unsainted1, Generally speaking, if you message someone and their reply ignores all pleasantries and any questions you may have asked and simply says something along the lines of “Message me on kik @ Goof All the best! Fear not, there’s nothing you’ve done wrong on your part, it’s simply part and parcel of a site like this. I’ve had dozens of these the last few months, sometimes they disappear before I’ve even had the chance to report them. ” then you can pretty much safely assume it’s a spammer. I simply report the RHP account and move on.

  Kik is an easy way to chat without giving out personal details and you can also do live picture or video chat so you can check someone is genuine, and the same as as their profile pics. A lot use it as an intermediate step before handing out a phone number. There is very good reason not to hand out a phone number if you're not sure of people, a friend of mine had to change her number after a vindictive spurned playmate posted it on the internet along with her lingerie pics.

  We like kik to prove authenticity. Exchange live pics and you know you are chatting with someone who is the same gender and size they claim to be.

  I have seen information saying Kik isn't closing down anymore. I had heard it was the ragebot that was the actual issue and not Kik at all We use kik to get to know people before we go the next step. It's easy to use, you can send live pictures to show people you are who you Say you are. I'm not giving you my number unless I know you well. There is so much information you can get from a phone number. It's also easier to block people on Kik. We also use the Kik chat groups as another way to meet people.

  As a guy you'll no doubt be getting flirts from short unimaginative profile names with random numbers after, its usually a profile pic of a really attractive girl who for some reason has taken the time to upload a pic but couldn't be bothered to write anything else and now wants to go on kik immediately. You are now talking to a scammer. It's easy to tell if you're talking to a real woman. She's cagey, easily offended and expecting you to do all the legwork as she's also got 100 other guys messaging her and promising the earth. Also her nudes will usually be the same girl in her profile pic 🤣. I had one message me and uncoaxed started sending nudes which were clearly a different girl!.

  Yeah I think Kik is definitely a safe way to communicate in the first instance. Why give your phone number to someone you hardly know? Get to know them more on kik and get a rapport and trust. When you finally meet them and when you are mutually happy then give out your number. Lots of scammers on this site. Can’t be too careful. GFT
