Is this the right thing for me as a single bloke??

Ok.. know the girls will probably sympathise but being a bloke, Ive just been through a hell of a time and just moved to australia and looking to meet new people but not into anything serious just yet,.. Im pretty conservative or best shy but want to break out of my shell and see what Ive been missing... problem is that these sites generally dont admit single blokes.. from all your experiences, what would be a good option to meet new people and yes have some fun doing it?? any suggestions welcome..

Hey Spanky & welcome to the ooze pond. Open 24/7 to meet all your sexual & SOCIAL needs. I've been actively involved with RHP since Dec 09 & found it to be ten times better than the other social networking/ dating sites. Reason being the ppl here are a lot more open & straight forward around here. I notice you reside in a rural area which may limit your choices in your immediate vicinity (not sure what out west offers) however you're not far from Syd so get stuck into it with as much gusto as you can muster. I see you've made friends with a group which should make some difference I guess. It might pay to check out the events near your area and see if there's anything there that might work for you. I don't know if there are any in your area but meet and greets are popular and based on the idea of no expectations. More of a sexy social meet. The forums are a good way to get to know people some but again... no expectations lol. There are a huge percentage of guys on RHP, so I have to say that makes it harder, especially as you are a guest with no pics. I would suggest that you might like to make the heading on your profile more original and maybe the rest of your write up as well. It helps to stand out from the crowd again. It makes sense to make sure you match the people you try to contact. Hugs... Mrs P

Thanks for the replies.. .. yeah already impressed with honest response to my forum question.. just wish I didnt live in the middle of nowhere.. will have see whats happening in sydney and make a trip for a weekend..
