It's been a while

I've been away from the forums - I'm not sure how long it's been exactly, over 6 months I'd guess. I got poorly, then poorly again and well, poorly again, and all the while, RHP and the forums drifted out of my head entirely. Until now. Now, I've spent the week in bed, recovering from surgery and soaking up the forums once more. It's funny, I'd forgotten how much I enjoy the spirited conversation and I can't help but wonder at the ease at which it slipped from my 'must read' list. I see some very familiar posters, some new posters and even reincarnated posters and it's all fabulous. So I ask you, where in your 'must read/do' list does RHP fit? I check the forums daily and it would be hard to let fall off my radar. But I'll be having some surgery myself soon, so it may be inevitable. But I'll always come back, it's warm and comfy here. Hope you're back to your happy, healthy and sexy self soon! x Mea (Mesmerised)

Yeah! WELCOME BACK!! I always loved your posts prior and will look forward to seeing them again. I hope all is OK?? I too exited and then returned after some time of finding Serenity. I think it's healthy to do. I have a strange addiction to the Forums, one day love them and then other days I get bored to tears with them. I just love the sandpit entertainment. ;) *skips off to play on the swings...weeeeeeeeeeeeee* Foxy

I was a paid member, and wrote to them to take of my profile as well. Women have to do that or else we just get kept on for statistics I think , men can just delete their profile , but women have to ask to have it deleted. I digress. I read it a little bit at first but then less and less and then not at all. I guess its like smoking, if you give it up you soon try not get addicted again. I started again as I still had lots of friends on here , that I know offline and its also good for my huge ego I have lots of time to myself , and I got ill as well so its a nice diversion. don't know how long I will last, sometimes I get pissed off at myself for wasting time on the computer , but Its up to me how I manage my RHP addiction. I have made a few new mates since coming back, some lovely guys but only as friends, no new lovers as I don't have the time nor the place nor the inclination. but I am a show off so I do like doing sexy pictures for my profile but I find its a lot harder to do as I cant hold my gut in for very long and I have to take my boob pictures standing on my head so they look all new and perky and Christ don't mention the face, what the fuck is that when you lay on your back your cheeks go around to the back of your ears... gravity is a bitch. as for my arse, well I cant get the iphone around that old thing and when I do it refuses to take a picture.. I keep hearing it say, ohhh the horror dont make me take a picture. My arse is so bad even the sat navigation cant seem to find my arse hole in all those folds of flab. LadyT grab a granny of RHP

I have surrounded myself with distractions to keep me from obsessing... It's hard to obsess over dozens of things, lolz, and since they're quite demanding activities, I've now got self imposed triggers to drag me away from the forum! I even read the newspapers! Hugs Gazpacho

We came to RHP for the swinging lifestyle the site accommodates, probably would have been bored just to the search lists, moved on to other things, then noticed something written in the stream on our home page that looked as though someone was saying something, had a look at it was true, there is a whole bunch of people talking through this typing thing, one letter at a time, could never find q, now I can, I've learned how to get-by-type two fingers and a thumb. Tara is shy to post, though we sit together and see what everyone has to say, she does while I'm at work as well, it causes us no worries, and it is people we see, more so than read. We went to a meet and greet, it all goes to show it's people and a social experience. We are making some friends along the way, it's our plan and we never see friends as a waste of time. So these forums are a little different than a book or magazine. All this means something that everyone shares, so no harm in learning isn't it said? Mado Tara xx

It was the same for us when we signed up (though it's mainly me posting, though hubby does on occasion). We too have made some great friends along the way and had contacts with forum members just for the purpose of 'hanging out'. I want to talk about that I can only talk about here. I can't talk about them with family or friends or work colleagues. Even if I could, I'm not sure I would. Those people would be shocked to know I'm here, having the kind of conversations I have here :) Some of them would be shocked and horrified by my past webcam exploits here. And yet, the side of me I get to explore here (and in the past with people I've met from here) is as much a part of me as anything those friends and family know. So, I love it here. I love the topics, the opinions, the vulnerability, the laughs, the education, and the endless opportunities to open my mind. I have a stupidly full life so the forums are in small part an escape, but moreso a place to express 'me'. I've been and gone over the years as life's taken twists and turns.
