Labia

January 21 2015

Hello Guys and girls.. Ok today's topic is labia.... Personally, I just love large labia. (all women are different and nothing is normal nor abnormal....) I love sucking them into my mouth or looking down and seeing them cuddle my glans...... So ladies do you love your labia? Guys what is your preference and why? On a side note, the increase in Labiaplasty is to me horrifying. As far as I'm concerned it's Dr's feeding off and profiting a woman's insecurity.... they should ban it as a cosmetic surgery.....

Many women who choose the surgery do so for comfort reasons than aesthetics, and your judgement on their comfort is a pretty immature and ignorant comment.... from a non-labia owner. Its also poor social commentary as its not Doctors putting images of labia in the media for women to compare theirs to...... its mostly porn 2c

and I prefer making labia wet of course, and prefer all of the so many ways to make labia wet. Why? well it's something to do with the look in her eye when wet, and that smile with one corner of the mouth raised as she inhales, or biting her lip as she looks down at my cock, she just feels so much better everywhere when wet. As for different types of labia, well large, small, iny, outy, does it really matter? It is weird how there seems to be a standard for porno labia, like it must be part of the audition process or something. Weird. Must be something to do with getting the best camera angle.

I saw the labioplasty segment on Embarrassing Bodies the other night and agree with you that there is a disturbing trend in the increased frequency of these procedures being performed for cosmetic purposes. *A previous episode of the show had also discussed this procedure and the girls' boyfriend telling her that her vagina was ugly so she was very self conscious about it and wanted it altered to suit what was seen by her boyfriend as being "normal". His idea of normal was skewed by watching porn.*There are genuine cases where this is performed for comfort due to excessively large labia but this doesn't account for the large increase in procedures primarily for cosmetic purposes where women wants a pretty vagina - body image issues.*The most recent episode on Embarrassing Bodies was where the woman wanted a pretty vagina and ended up with a botched job not only once but twice and has had to have several more surgeries to try and rectify the damage done. *Sad what some people will do to themselves in an effort to be more attractive to others. Its also poor social commentary as its not Doctors putting images of labia in the media for women to compare theirs to...... its mostly porn 2c I disagree..... (although from a non labia owner I like you can't answer the comfort thing. However I do have a couple of lovers who have rather large labia and they assure me that they don't have comfort issues). Back to the point. Did you see the documentary "The Perfect Vagina" 2008.... it's worth taking a look. Anyway, one of the issues that we have in Australia is the definition of porn. for the girlie magazines that you often see in lunch sheds etc if external genitalia are not visible then they don't get an R rating. So these magazines air brush labia to comply with the legislation. As the vast majority of women never see another woman's vulva, the only place that the see them is in these sort of magazines. (remember we are actually a minority here on RHP, other dating sites and porn, the majority of women in particular do not watch porn)..... This leads to unrealistic views as to what is "normal" so if a woman has visible labia then often they believe that they are not normal and seek surgery. Sure there are some women who as you say want surgery for comfort or medical reasons however the increase in this surgery purely for cosmetic purposes is growing exponentially.... I have a friend who has had this surgery, she told me that she did this because she thought her large lips were not normal. The first thing the Dr should have said is "your are perfectly normal" Not the cost of the surgery is ..... This, to me is a self serving industry that is profiting from women's self consciousness generated from a false impression of what's normal and what's not...... How's that for a rant.....

LG You are so right there, men (I would say unthinking, uncaring and immature) often say the wrong thing. I still remember the wife of my best mate saying how when she was 18 a guy said to her "You have big meaty flaps" she took this statement to be a criticism. I'm sure if labiaplasty was readily available 30 years ago she would have had it.....

For me I prefer "outy" I love sucking them into my mouth, parting them with my tongue and licking her clit. Having said that if she has an inny, it's makes no difference. I'm with her because of connection not her labia.... I just think the snip for the sake of it is sad and an indictment on us all....

Innie, outie, big ones, little ones, smooth ones, and prickly ones. One with studs, bars, and rings, tattooed or just as is. My favorite pussy is always the wet wild kinky one. As for cosmetic surgery, if it makes someone feel more confident and relaxed then it is a good thing. To ban such things is wrong as the decision is for the individual, no one else. We use make up, maintain our hair, and wear clean stylish clothing, get our teeth fixed, all so we can feel confident. Why impose your (OP) morals on others? What next, ban makeup? make crowns illegal? destroy all skin tight leather pants? People do it to be happy, who are we to say no! SacralChakra.Totally agree, a good honest compliment does wonders for the soul.

SacralChakra.Totally agree, a good honest compliment does wonders for the soul. but wearing make up ... unless it is tattooed on isn't a surgical procedure, nor is wearing stylish clothing and maintaining our hair changes with changing trends. Fixing our teeth can be for cosmetic purposes or to correct a misaligned bite and yes is a confidence booster. I feel the OP is about genital cosmetic surgery without proper consultation regarding the risks that can leave an embarrassing deformity from a botched procedure. I am not sure all doctors would be after the $$$ only but without proper advice as to what is a normal looking labia it is not addressing her body issues. I do agree in general most women (non-RHPers and similar sites) don't know what a "normal" looking labia looks like. Standing at a urinal, I am sure men check each other out and have the opportunity to see how varied and different each penis looks. Most women only have the opportunity to compare parts from photo-shopped porn. Maybe we should start a Love Your Vagina and Labia Day to celebrate the variety out there and show most women you already are normal! Yay ... show us your pussy girls....LOL LG

agree. However, more than anything, a woman should tell herself everyday she is beautiful. She should appreciate herself firstly fpr how beautiful she is, regardless of her size, shape or race, most importantly rather than wait for other people to prop up her confidence. A healthy eago is important and that means loving ourselves, big or small labia. The self confidence that follows will be more appreciatd by the men. This is more sexy and attractive. IMO.

You are so right..... I love self confidence (without arrogance) in any person. I suppose the funny thing is and I think it's more women than men, that women tend to focus on the one negative comment rather than the 5 positive ones. It's as if the negative is telling the truth and the positive are a lie..... You know it reminds me of a story about an Australian guy who moved to New York. He had been there for a year, no work crappy apartment feeling really down. One day he flicked a switch in his brain and consciously decided to find something every day that was positive. The first day he saw the sun glinting on a pile of snow... The lesson that he learned is Happy Thoughts = Happy Feelings, Happy Feelings = Happy life...... So look for the positives and don't dwell on the negatives.......

I'm also not a fan of labiaplasty done because the woman thinks she is 'abnormal' and isn't informed properly about female anatomy. But what if the woman is informed and knows that her labia are within perfectly normal anatomical limits, and still wants the procedure regardless? Is that still bad? What about breast enhancement? That also carries a risk of botched procedures...there are some horror stories out there. Women who get boob jobs are aware that their smaller boobs are 'normal', but they still want it done and going by these forums most are encouraging and say well if it's going to make you feel better about yourself then go ahead. There are still issues of societal pressures around what a woman's body 'should' look like that come into play here as well though, so where do you draw the line and say, well this is ok but this isn't?

I think breast enhancement (and reduction like my wife had) is a little different - everybody can see your breasts so it can be a big part of self esteem. However unless you're a nymphomaniac or a porn star the reality is that not many people will actually see your labia!!!

Quoting 'simple_desires' Don't they all hang outside the body? Who cares how long or short they are.... The OP is referring to the inner labia (labia minora). Yes they all hang outside the body, but when people refer to 'innies' they mean inner labia that are basically tucked inside the outer ones so they aren't normally visible. 'Outies' are inner labia that are longer and hang outside the outer labia so that they are visible.
