  You should ask.Anything that is FUN is something, someone or an experience that makes me laugh or lifts my mood.However not everything that does that is FUN. Fun is a light hearted word ,I think if FUN appears on someone's profile it's a euphemism for sex. I have never used it on my profile Hugs Q

  Fun It's a state of mind. I had fun giving myself a pedicure recently. It was fun wandering with my dogs through some scrub to a cool creek the other day. Delicious fun was had discovering a new friend with my tongue. It's whatever you want it to be for you.

  I use the word fun instead of sex when chatting with people. I've had sex that wasn't fun, so I'm comfortable using that word, as just saying sex, seems a bit cold. I don't know why people get so uptight about words 🙄 Anyway, fun for me means good company and good times whatever form that comes in.

  Because we communicate via language Red? And we can have different understanding of their meaning as language shifts and changes over time, also based on our own experiences. I ask about it because I thought it could be a fun thread and a learning opportunity for me. Getting to understand people's points of view in an opposite direction from the Fun thread that this is partly based on. And I love words, they're fun for me. Peachy

  I posted this thread in the thought of exploring fun and what it can be beside the sex angle rather than trying to make a copy of Mischevious's thread. And I did find it funny to twist that in the heading! LOL As well as a foil to Swinga's thread because I'm enjoying this year so much better than last year. It's fun and funny. Part of my thoughts that I didn't include in the OP for fear of sounding like a fool were how much I enjoyed spinning my stinking, tumble composter. There you can see the connection to Swinga's thread I'm sure. My life that has been more about survival and to finally be getting a grip on fun is an exciting thing for me. Cheers, Peachy

  As long as we recognise that what is semantics for some is something of interest to others. You denying their reality doesn't make your's any the more relevant. Say what? :P Some people have no idea what fun is having had completely different experiences. Some people's idea of fun is to screw over people. It's a far more interesting topic than the off-the-cuff answers give credit for, but as long as you're all having fun. Peachy

  Oh and don't forget torture. Recieving torture, especially by authorities in dubious countries for info you don't know or to make a false statement or confession, is heaps of fun. Rip out my toenails any day baby :p
