Looking for friend lover who is living with an std.

May 26 2018

Why not have a line item for those who are living with herpes or hiv listed so people can find compatible partners who not ignorant of longterm std's and still have normal but safe sex life and relationship. List std as a line option and brief state o situation. People can then actually find people living with std's more easily and filters who they are looking for. - Posted from rhpmobile

I think there is issue of confidentiality. People wouldn't want others to be able to see in their profile that they have disease. It is a good idea but I think in terms of practicality people won't put anything in or leave it blank- very much like attractiveness, no one will put 'I am unattractive' in their profile, so you'll end up with Attractive or Very attractive which aren't very helpful. Regardless, by law, it is mandatory to notify if they have disease before engaging in sexual act with another person.

I get where you're coming from OP but that info will almost never be voluntarily offered unless asked directly I imagine. And even if that info is offered freely (like on our profile) most don't even bother reading it! 😅 - Posted from rhpmobile

Nope no longer mandatory to disclose your disease as of October 2017. Now you only have to have taken "reasonable" steps to reduce transmission. What "reasonable" means hasn't yet been tested in the courts. - Posted from rhpmobile
