Lubricant for the spa

January 04 2015

Anyone got a suggestion for a good lube that works underwater? We know that such a thing is unlikely but we also know that you are an inventive lot and there may be someone out there who has found the ideal product.

Any silicone-based lubricant should be water-proof and work under water

We'll second silicone lube. Unlike water-based lube, it doesn't simply wash away when coming into contact with water and lasts for quite some time. It's great for out of water fun too but just don't go using it with your silicone toys.

But wont stop the ridiculous amount of water being pumped up into you. Just keeps them going longer and faster till you explode.

It is more expensive than water based lube but you don't need as much. It won't wash off in water and is a silky glide. It is also good for many things, it is a great barrier cream if you have skin conditions, take the frizz out of hair, you can stop squeeky doors, put it on the door knob so the kids can't open the door, lol.

With a spa and the higher temp you will struggle to find anything that won't leave residue in the spa.we were using coconut oil which was great, but then next time we jumped in it felt slimy. One day when we know we are going to drain it, we are going to go hell for leather with the oil. Better find a few extra bodies to soak up some of the oil. Maybe a couple of hot swedish backpackers. lol. Don't tell Mrs jacuzzitime. Oh wait she will probably beat me to the spa and the hot girls. hehe.

another vote for silicone, not a fan of vasoline at all - it just feels thick, goopy and not so nice as the smooth silky glide you get from silicone. (As mentioned though, it can degrade silicone toys if you leave it on them too long)

sex in the spa is a no go for us...doesnt matter how clean they look...they are breeding grounds for all kinds of nasties, and sinister things can bloom overnight
