MTF makeup

I've been cross dressing since I was a pre teen, and have always loved everything about femininity, from hairstyles to heels, and everything in between. I live alone so I get to dress in my pretty women's clothes almost every day, and I love it, but I still can't do my makeup to look natural. I always tend to use way too much makeup, and I still have difficulty doing my eyes in particular. I have watched lots of tutorials online, and they do help, but I would love to get some further help in acheiving the natural but still feminine look I desire. Are there any trans women, or women, or makeup artists who would enjoy helping a willing student learn how to apply her makeup without looking like a drag queen?

there are quite a few major beauty schools in Melbourne that run makeup courses etc and will have no issue in showing you the ropes as a cross dressing lady. I know as I have attended classes with ladies in similar situations. I did several of their professional courses as I was retraining from my old job. I now do professional make up for bridal parties and photo shoots at weekends etc and Id be happy to help you out if that interest you. The CAE in Degraves Lane also does a Saturday class with a class coming up on the 20th May for $200 - all day session and again if you are a little hesitant in going alone, Id be looking at attending that course as well, so we could go together. If you are interested in chatting further, please let me know here. I have a good friend on here that could chat with you on my behalf as I note we are both guests. As Meander said, throw away all your dark coloured cosmetics and start again. Light with everything (except mascara) until you work out what works naturally for you. You can always go darker. I'm curious about cross dressing and am considering trying it. Are there groups in Melbourne for beginners or so single cross dressers willing to show what's involved ? Love the idea of dressing with very short and revealing clothes, and lingerie.

I would love to chat with you further, I would love to have someone to help me to practice, however I work most weekends, so wouldn't be able to attend the class you mentioned on the 20/5.
