Meet and greet Central West NSW

September 23 2018

We are organising our first meet and greet in the Central West NSW in October and wondering what makes a good meet and greet? What have you enjoyed about attending one? Best mingling techniques games? We will have three gorgeous girls hostessing and meeting and introducing people. Will have a gift pack from a large adult chain and some great prizes on the night. Love to know what people have really enjoyed about a night they have been too!

Venue ideally should be easy to find and have good parking or easy access to public transport. People to meet the attendees as they arrive. Have some blank name tags available for attendees to use if they want. They can write their peofile name or first name, up to them what they want to do. Some seating but not too much, otherwise people plonk themselves down and only move to go to the bar or the toilet, which makes it difficult to get people mingling. Not sure about games as some people find them too confronting, preferring to mingle in their own quiet way. Maybe clarify what you mean by "dress to impress". It always makes me think of cocktail wear for some reason, which is difficult for some people as they don't have anything to wear and don't want to buy something. Smart casual is always easier for people to do; you can request no denim if you want to ensure the attendees put in a bit of effort. Background music is good, avoid doof doof at all costs! Loud music makes it hard to converse. Encourage cliques to detach and help newcomers feel included. Hope that helps! Feel free to PM me if you want to clarify anything.
