You can find out extremely quickly if people show they show up. Do and mean what they say. The rest is easy cus you just have to strike up a face to face conversation and take it from there.

I’ve been to a few in Melbourne...been to one in Sydney as well... My interests lie solely with the social aspects of this site not really that focussed on the sex, but I’ve always had a great time... Can’t say there’s ever been a bad event that I’ve ever been too...

Best experience: meeting my gorgeous soul mate, best male friend (Mr Clooney) and some beautiful amazing souls (they know who they are). Getting to travel with them. Over the years (from going to meet and greets), I have formed a very good stable circle of friends/friendships. In fact, at the same time each year, quite a few of us catch-up. We have been doing this for a few years now. I have even travelled overseas with some, and doing it again in the near future. Nowadays I prefer 1:1 over local meets. I did recently decline a meet and greet, as it was not what I wanted at that time. Ms Foxy

After two years in the lifestyle we are yet make it along to a meet and greet as dates have clashed with other comitments. Must say we are eager to get along to one soon to expand our circle of friends in the lifestyle.

Love them! I love them. Have met some amazing people. Who have become lovers and friends. I like to meet a person face to face see if there is that chemistry. I find it being in a group environment safe and comfortable. I also love the social side of it. Have been to Bali, Bunbury and Adelaide for meet and greets. Looking forward to many more. Ms B 💋

4 in Sydney, 3 in Melbourne, 7 in Brisbane (2 as guest, 5 as organiser) and an upcoming 1 on the Sunshine Coast 16 Feb. Have loved every single one of them but NOTHING will ever top the first one in Sydney where I got to see all the comic book RHP characters from the forum come to life in front of me!!! it was AMAZING!!! Walked away from that weekend with new friends and an entirely new outlook (laughing). Over the years these Meet & Greets have only added new people to my life - most have stayed and have become lifelong friends - some have gone but most are remembered fondly. If you ever get to go to one in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth organised by the "forum crew" (the usual posters here from those states) definitley DO IT. As for those considering hosting one I also recommend that - they can be alot of fun organising and so worthwhile at the end for everyone else who comes and parties - most of us happily travel to catch up with each other....and new faces are made to feel welcomed. and its good to get out of the house from behind the keyboard and actually get to know the people you argue, flirt, stalk, shake your head/fist at, laugh with or just think WOW at from the site. 10/10 for topic OP ~ Indy

Ive met so many lovely people. The best thing for me is meeting in a social environment where everyone is relaxed and getting to know people without expectations. Ill echo the advice of others.....if you get the chance, go!

Meet and greets are fantastic! I've been to multiple m&gs in Qld, NSW, and a couple of 'unofficial' ones in WA, and used to organise them here in Melbourne. In fact, I've met most of the folk who have already listed in this forum, all at meet & greets around this awesome country. If you haven't been to one, get to one as soon as you can. Nothing like socialising with a great bunch of people who are relaxed, open minded, and up for a great night out.

I've been to as many as possible in Melb over four or so years, as well as one each in Brisbane and Sydney. I also go to many socials through other sites (and outside Melb), and some city socials have been advertised on more than one medium. At one such mixed event I met the lovely couple I know, over three years ago. I have also made a lot of great platonic friendships. As it happened, at the very first RHP meet I attended about four years ago, I met a single woman who became a local (i.e. Melbourne/Vic) FWB for a number of months. Dog friendly of course :) I have now hosted three events as well. Like others suggest, I have never had a bad event, apart the very rare individual that has caused trouble or when I've felt I haven't quite matched/mingled as well with folks compared with other nights. But to put it another way, the alternative was always likely to be sitting around at home (or sleeping haha), so having the chance to socialise is typically the better option.

I haven't managed to lead Eiliethiya too far up the garden path yet 😂 Love the Meet and Greets, l too have been lucky enough to have met most of the posters on here as well and even luckier to call them my friends. Wouldn't mind getting over to WA sooner rather than later too. Doesn't take much to twist my arm Indy. How does July 20th sound Annie 😊

I have only attended one meet & greet, several years ago in Perth. I found it a bit 'stilted' & odd - probably just my interpretation - but it did not inspire me to visit more. Were not many in attendance which may have affected the mood.

I miss the old days of the M&G with the socialites. They don't seem to do them anymore. They were always so much fun.

11-12 Years ago...and part of organising many more before MsJonesy came along :) Best experiences...making some long time friends , people I would never have met otherwise. Worst experiences....laughable more than bad, lets just say it was some unexpected , very poor behaviour and actionsfrom a person who portrays themself as cool and calm. So yes, you do really get a better idea of the real person at Meet & Greet nights.

Going back to the very early noughties, lol. Not too many would remember them because they weren't here then. I've been to a couple in Perth, one a long time ago and the other more recently was a social meet. There are a lot of lovely people out there once we get over the past and our obsession with it, lol. It all depends on where we put our focus hey. And I'm looking to the future and good times in Perth this year, Peachy
