  Hi Heavy Petal A few years ago we were newbies and decided to go to Allspice event . It was the best thing we ever did .It was close to home and after speaking on the phone to the couple that organise the event we were still nervous but felt comfortable in attending . It’s much like a meet and greet . It’s located in a bar in Melbourne’s South East . It’s always a fun , relaxed no pressure evening. The next event is this Saturday 9 th February. It’s a monthly event . There is a always a great mix of people , wonderful music and definitely no pressure . There is a play area upstairs if you want to venture upstairs to watch ( or join in ). Alot of people just go to socialise and meet like minded people . We have now been to other events / meet and greets and not found them as friendly as Allspice Good luck with the New Years resolution. Ax .
